The son's of Merc
After the age of the immortals, their children led humanity, enveloped in great prosperity. Their leadership during this time is referred to by some as the Golden Age.
The tribes, offspring of the immortals, grew stronger and founded all tribes in Endranthia, in Riveria and Muntania. Each tribe began to plant, mine, hunt, and even rear wild animals, all taught by the immortals.
The tribe founded by Merc became the strongest and wealthiest of all. Their army was unmatched, feared, and respected by all tribes. The Mercian tribe divided into many factions over time.
The Mervians took advantage of this and the lineage of Merv to attack the Mercian tribe, but they were defeated and unsuccessful. After a long time, the orderly leadership of the immortals from the lineage of Merc came to an end.
The lineage of the immortals was mixed with mortal women, losing their immortality and becoming mortal. The mortal Mercians became tyrants, enslaving those who did not comply with their desires.
The Purtunian tribe, a faction of the Mercian tribe, was ruled by a tyrant named Jaebis, a cruel leader who built a force of men and trained them.
Young boys at the age of 14 were trained to fight through tournaments, pitting them against wild animals and even against their own siblings. No one dared to oppose Jaebis, knowing that disobedience meant either death or worse, enslavement.
He called these boys the modern immortals, ruthless and fearless, willing to take lives, even of their own siblings, for Jaebis.
The men were trained to ride horses and wield spears, stripped and made to walk for miles in the cold, desolate surroundings. The Treetsians, also part of the Mercian tribe, witnessed these events.
Jaebis' sons took Treetsian women, exploiting and plundering their possessions of gold, silver, and bronze. The men were tied between branches and exposed to the sun, while even the men of rival tribes, including their own Mercian kin, were also punished.
When the Treetsians attempted to resist the Purtunians' abuse, they failed. As punishment, Jaebis forced them to jump into the Treetsian mountains, where they were made to walk while freezing and carry heavy logs.
Jaebis then turned his attention southward to the tribe founded by Dreigo, attacking the Dreishan men on horseback, kidnapping women, and killing men, turning the youth into slaves.
Jaebis demanded gold, silver, and bronze as payment. The women and children fled to South Dreish to hide, while the men of the North decided to fight under Dreigo's leadership.
They rebelled against the Purtunians, with 15,000 men from the North fighting by seizing supplies and killing observed Purtunians.
However, Jaebis confronted them, bringing 10,000 troops. Many in the Dreishan faction in the North perished, reducing their group to only 9,000.
Jaebis did not pursue further and camped by the riverbank. After ten days, while the men in the North camped in the forest called Trachea, they stayed there out of fear that camping in the open would make them an easy target for Jaebis' cavalry forces.
