Ana's pov

My grandma, a siren, dropped me off from the beach, then swam off. I was soaked, but oh well. I didn't have a siren form, unlike my grandmother, so i didn't have to worry about it. i started over to slashes house, my adopted sister. She was a werewolf angel demon mix. One day, we found her while she was still really young, or so i was told. I wasnt born for quite a few years after, im 10 now, and though my sister could be reborn so shes probably lived thousands or millions or maybe billions of years, her current body is only 18-30, i wasnt sure exactly. I walked through town Square where there was a school, went to a quiet part of town, then the lake came into view- it was small but when i approached i realized it went alot deeper than it looked. It wasn't stocked, but it would be amazing for swimming. And there were 2 cabins- pretty sure slash lived in the far one. I walked over, and there she was, eating some cooked meat. I didn't like cooked things. They were really dry. I knew some of certain species agreed with me, but she didn't. She noticed me and looked confused

"Ana? Why are you here?"

she got up and trotted over, crouching next to me

"i wanted to see you! Ever since you moved from bayside you haven't visited us."

i could tell Slash felt guilty at the thought.

"Oh, im sorry, i missed you!" She said while pulling me into a hug

"I missed you too, slash!" i hugged her back tightly

Then i decided to be a little naughty. I was swift enough to sneak my knife into her pocket. Even if it did cut her, she'd be fine, it wasnt even one of my sharp ones.

"Check your pocket!" I said enthusiastically

she seemed confused but pulled away from the hug and checked her pocket, gasping when she realized there was i knife in it, i giggled, and she sighed

"How did this even get here??"

"Me!" I confessed with a smile

"Why??"

"cus i wanted to."

Slash sighed and gave it back. I smiled and hugged her again, i was hungery, but she didn't like fish, so i doubted any food for me was here

(Ana can only eat food from the sea, or she will get really sick)

"im hungery, can we go hunting!?"

"Sure, ana, you can go hunt."

she let me piggyback her to the beach. she stayed on the beach while i jumped off her head into the water, i have a long breath capacity and can swim fast, i am part siren after all. Not just that but part royal siren. i started to hunt fish, they were plenty abundant, i bit each one with my shark like teeth before tucking them into my arm, soon enough i had 2 small armloads, and a bluegill in each of my hands, i love bluegill but theyre sharp fins limit the amount i can carry. I got back onto the beach, and slash glanced at the fish i had. Then, at me, she had a shocked look on her face. Oh well cant blame her

I hopped piggyback on her, and we were off back to the cabin
