Good Morning - One
Austria, April 5th of 2016. A messy collapse awoke Kade, making her fall off her bed in her loft apartment. Her cat broke yet another vase, youd think Kade would just get rid of glass instead of buying more but nope. Kade's loft apartment consisted of a small, blue-gray sofa that could hold only 4 or 5 people, a small kitchen with a small alcohol rack next to the fridge and a gloss finish on the marble countertops, a small bathroom with only a bath, shower, sink and toilet and only enough space to fit one person in there comfortably, and a queen sized bed with black sheets and white pillows with a black duvet for winter. Next to her bed was her bedside table which she had hit her head on during her fall and on the wall facing her bed was her closet, filled with unfolded and wrinkly clothes which she needed to wash. Across the room to that was the bathroom door. Just outside the bathroom door was a washing machine which was underneath a dryer, there was a shelf next to the two that held up some washing powder and an iron on top of an ironing board.
Kade stood up and went downstairs, looking at the clock on the wall for the time. 11 o'clock? Good thing she has the night shift I guess. She looked around and saw a vase smashed on the ground with her cat next to it, she picked up the glass and threw it away into the recycling bin. She poured a handful of cat food with one treat on top into a small bowl and putting it down for Sasha, her cat. She got to work on her own breakfast, putting cereal and some milk into a bowl and eating. She called in sick at her day job today because she was a little burnt out and had to go to the mall with her friend, Amilia, which was the least she could do after all the help.
She made her way to the bus stop, waiting for the bus and taking a seat on the bus stop bench. As the bus stopped she hopped on, giving the bus driver the payment and taking a seat in the back of the bus. As the bus came to a halt at the nearest bus stop to the mall she got off and started walking to the mall, which was only around 60 metres away. She stepped into the parking lot, spotting Amilia and walking up to her.
"Hey Am's! I'm here! What we getting?" Kade asked, nodding towards Amilia to walk with her.
"Oh, yeah, let's walk. I saw some pretty shoes we can look at, and we can go to some other stores after." Amilia responded, starting to walk to the entrance of the mall.
~𝘼𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙡~
After around 3 hours of shopping Kade was very tired, especially after having to carry her singular shopping bag and then like 12 shopping bags from Amilia.
They entered her loft and Amilia started trying on what she got, while Kade was graciously granted the responsibility of rating them. Amilia first walked out of Kade's bathroom sporting a white and pastel pink pair of chiffon tail shorts, a striped white and pastel pink crop top and a pair of pastel pink platform boots with white accents.
"So? What do you think?" Amilia asked, doing a small twirl to show it off and her ginger hair in braids aswell.
"It looks... Good, on you, ofcourse..." Kade said, now being distracted by the everlasting memory of her twirling in a similar cute dress at age 10, a few moments before her stepdad decided she was indeed 'cute'... Per say.
As Kade snapped out of her little memory, she found Amilia still in the same outfit and sitting next to her now, beckoning Kade to tell her what's wrong. Amilia had her hand on Kade's back, worried as fuck. Kade just leaned onto Amilia's shoulder, drooping herself and starting to fall asleep. Kade had had a long day and now Amilia was worried she overworked the poor girl. Amilia set Kade on her bed, tucking her in and turning off her alarm for her nightshift. Amilia then left the equivalent to what she earns for the nightshift on her night stand, calling Kade's boss and saying Kade has suddenly fallen very sick today so she isn't coming in.
~𝙄𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜~
Kade jumped up at the sound of her alarm, realizing she slept through work and panicking. Amilia heard the sound of Kade panicking and she got up from the couch she had slept on last night. Amilia stood and walked up to the bed, asking if Kade was okay in a gentle tone.
"Hey, uh... Kade? Are you okay? I saw what happened last night so I told your boss you'll be out for awhile." Amilia was impossible to be mad at when you knew her well enough.
Kade just nodded her head, smiling ever so slightly before standing and hugging Amilia. They hugged for a few seconds before a call interrupted them, a call from Amilia's parents wondering where the hell their daughter is. Amilia picked up the phone hesitantly, not really enjoying her parents' company and the sound of their voice since they never cared for her and were way to caught up in being the 'perfect' celebrities.
Amilia's parents immediately started questioning her, their voices booming with anger and fake concern for her.
"Amy! Where are you?! We gave you no permission to leave this time!" Her mom shouted, not even caring enough to remember Amilia's name.
"Mother-" Amilia tried to cut in, being interrupted
"No! No excuses, Amy! Come home now or never come back!"
"Louise. Im at Kade's. And I dont want to come back home. Infact, you can pack all my stuff and throw it on the front lawn for me because it wouldnt make any difference to how it normally feels!" Amilia's voice got louder with every word until she was shouting at her mom with full force. She hung up on her mom after, now upset and teary eyed. That was unusual for Amilia to be upset like that but understandable when you understood her and her feelings.
Amilia almost immediately pulled Kade in for a hug and started sobbing into her shoulder, her dark grey shirt getting stained with tears as she patted Amilia on the back. After around 5 minutes of this Amilia ended up on Kade's bed with her, both cross legged as Amilia styled up Kade's hair for a fancy dinner that Kade offered to pay for, only to be told no because Kade wanted to save up for her favourite books and Amilia wanted to make Kade happy.
Amilia soon forgot about the chaotic interaction with her mom and had been making Kade try on different fancy suits for the dinner. Amilia herself was wearing a black dress with slits on either side that reached to her hips, which looked absolutly amazing on her either way. Kade eventually got into a matching black suit, it looked amazing on her and it allowed them to look like a couple so no one hit on them while dining. Kade and Amilia made their way outside, going inside of Kade's black Dodge Charger that happens to be payed for by Amilia.
