A truly talented author 🖤
"Side characters who steal the show with snarky dialogue and witty banter. Main characters who have you dying of laughter... When I started reading "The Witch of the Glen", I was not expecting such a gem. One that would help me escape the reading slump I was finding myself in at the time. I usually like to read books where I have to gnaw on my wrists for the entire book. Because sometimes the story just needs to be depressing. Because that's what the story needs. Right? 🤷♀️ Your typical pitiful and desolate narratives of misfortune and adversity and the insane horror fests of decapitations and slashings and rape, and what have you, that you find in those dominant Alpha-stories. 🖤 but a bit much sometimes. "The Witch of the Glen" fills that sweet lighter spot for a moment. I am now a sucker for funny, witty, snarky banter dialogues. The details in this book are masterful. The familiarity, the warmth in the characters. It is as though I have known Hester for ages. As a bonus, this story has one of the most delightful sulky/sunshiny dynamics I’ve ever read. Not only is Hester prepared to take the wind right out of Seth's sails, she is also《excited》😆. She has, at all times, verbal swords ready to cut at him. The pure pursuit of pleasure and debauchery that Seth embodies, isn’t quite what Hester had in mind, and she soon finds herself torn between her tangled feelings for Seth. Her equally complicated relationship with Seth's increasingly bad behavior (he has a particularly difficult time with commitment 😆) also doesn’t match up to her vision for herself as a respectable Christian woman 🙈 Elise's voice is beautiful and poetic, but also funny, snarky and light. She's got a special rhythm to her stories and a good imagination, one that can look at a situation and picture all sorts of different scenarios. She's able to ask 'what if' and come up with twists and lines that are new and fresh. She is truly a talented author who has become a wizard at what she does and deserves soooo much recognition! And how excited I was when I read about another book of hers, one on a rude 🧛♂️😍! I have had a couple of mesmerising evenings reading "The Witch of the Glen", and I have no doubt "The Enforcer: Eternal Redemption" will be no exception..."

"I have no idea how I found the story … it wasn’t even the genre I was looking for , but after reading the first chapter I knew I couldn’t let it go until finished . I hated with a passion , laughed , cried and fell in love with the story . Many people write , but few are able to inspire something in you . I knew then and there that I found an author , not somebody writing on a platform out of boredom . The details , the language , the storyline and how much effort must have been put in the story … it’s something to be appreciated . Now , you have me as a fan and hope you will never stop writing . "
