Agustina se va de viaje con sus amigos, en busca de una aventura memorable e inspiración para poder escribir su novela; una historia sobre criaturas desagradables que intentan devorar y monopolizar las almas de un grupo de viajeros. Irónicamente, es este un reflejo del futuro horripilante que los amigos han de sufrir durante su estadía en Oregon, Estados Unidos.
