"Where do I start, and what do I say. This book, along with the first one, was an excellent read. There was no problem understanding what you were reading. The characters all did their part to perfection. This was such a different take on the mafia stories. Sure, there was drama, but there was also comedy with little Miss Harlow keeping Rook on his toes and Rook keeping Kade grounded, but there was also the bits that made them seem like the average family. I have to admit, I am greedy. It would be nice to read a bit more about Kade and Rook, just them, I so loved the chemistry between them. Thanks for sharing with your readers. "

"I have to admit I. Really enjoyed reading this book. The story had a bit of everything;drama, lots of comedy and love. Loved the push and pull of the two main characters. Although they claimed to hate each other I think under everything it was always love, they just did not know how to express it. Hated that Kade's mother turned out to be a greedy BITCH along with Paul trying to ruin their lives, honestly I was not sorry Kade was the one to send him to his maker. This book showed the readers another side of Mafia stories, that somehow seemed real. Can't wait for the next book. To the writer thanks for sharing your talent and great storytelling . "

"Where do I even start? There's only like 7 chapters but already I've been sucked in and wanting more. I'm not one to read sports romance, but this? Wow. I'm obsessed and I can't wait for the next chapter to be released. I feel for Kade, one stupid move, and his entire career is in someone elses hands and it's his rival's father's hands as well which is worse. I don't care who you are, this is a book you have to read! I'm here waiting for updates!"

"The writing style was really good and the main character dynamics worked well, but it got very twisty towards the end in the plotting. A lot of it wasn't necessarily expected either, with no previous foreshadowing. However it's a really good read. 4 stars"
