Fiery Nightmares Extinguished by Love
"The nightmares have haunted her ever since she could remember. It began with a dark castle consumed by fire and her desperate attempts at escape. The face of a lad she could barely remember urges Elena to save herself. But what could it all mean? Were her dreams a memory in disguise? Elena isn't sure. The best she can do is to ignore her nightmares while she and her sister works as humble seamstresses. But alas, trouble has a way of finding Elena, and she is kidnapped by Lucas the most ruthless pirate of the sea. He promises the young beauty that he will enjoy the delights of her body, whether she is willing or not. Elena tries to scream, but she is choked by Lucas's merciless hands. Fortunately for Elena, Prince Henry arrives in time to save her. He is handsome man and hauntingly familiar. She wants to trust him, but is frightened by her fiery nightmares of the past. Will Elena regain her memories before it's too late? Or will she eventually be consumed by the fiery lust of Lucas and the evil manipulations of Prince Joshua. So goes another delightful fairytale by author Diana. Don't get me wrong. This story is NOT for children with the possibility of rape, death and destruction around every corner. I love stories where the heroine has to earn her 'Happily Ever After' instead of just having it handed to her. Elena eventually learns how to defend herself and even manages to save the Prince from death at one point. It's enjoyable watching the two of them fall in love, though I suspect the Prince is somehow involved with Elena's nightmares. A nice prequel to 'Return to Valoria'."
Almost perfect
"Theo story was great, the plot, twist and action. But last chapters left me confused - Joshua's change of heart was unbelievable. With all the hate and seeking of power suddenly he realizes his mistakes and one wound was the reason? I would give all Dice stara but because of the end I face only four."
Intriguing
"I love the suspense and drama! The plot is captivating, keeping you hooked with its intricate twists. The characters are richly developed, and the tension builds flawlessly. Absolutely awesome and highly recommended! "
Nearly to final chapter
"Mixed feelings over the predicable outcome of not executing Joshua. Glad to see Elena is not just waiting for rescue but trying to effect it for herself and Henry. Author’s writing is very good. "
