Promising

"Four chapters in, I can tell you I'm very excited to see where this story goes. It follows Thomas and his journey with enlisting. I really like how fleshed out his character is, his motives for joining, and then his burgeoning friendships with the other characters. I hope to see the character of Abigail again as I rather enjoyed her dialogue with Thomas. The writing is amazing. The author is really great at conveying feelings and descriptions but mostly I'm enjoying this book from the history aspect. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys learning about history. "
