A Different kind of story
"Noah's story is a bit different from the kind of books I usually read. Saying that, different doesn't mean bad ....in fact, the theme is quite heartwarming and emotional. Just imagine being just 15 or 16, and being abandoned by your parents, the very people who are supposed to be there for you unconditionally... The situation we find this teenage boy is quite pitiful. Still, it is admirable how despite all odds he is trying to do the right thing and survive in the best way possible, without getting caught up doing something wrong, which is how most people might react under these conditions. Then there's this kind couple, who are extremely compassionate and astute to identify his situation and give him a place with them. It will be interesting to see which way the story goes moving further. The pace of the story is a bit slow for me....but considering the theme....such a story can't be written in a faster pace, which I do understand. Anyone who likes to read about realistic situations and drama might really enjoy this one."
