As Lee Tian’s eyes fluttered open, he was greeted by a thick canopy of foliage.
“What’s happening? How did I end up in a forest?” he muttered, utterly bewildered.
He distinctly remembered being halfway through a task in the biology lab when there seemed to be an explosion, and then...
“Could it be... I’ve transmigrated?” His eyes bulged with incredulity.
Simultaneously, an electronic voice reverberated in his mind, “Infinite Evolution System successfully loaded...”
“Congratulations, Host Lee Tian, on acquiring the Infinite Evolution System. You may earn Evolution Points and Experience Points by hunting other creatures!”
“Evolution Points enhance your talents and abilities, while Experience Points enable you to level up and grow stronger!”
Following the electronic announcement, a system panel materialized in his thoughts.

Lee Tian was startled by the bizarre system panel.
“Am I really an ant?”
Panicked, he inspected his body and saw six slender, black limbs, a glossy black thorax, and an oversized abdomen.
“I am an ant!”
He sighed deeply, wishing someone would just squash him.
Why did others who transmigrated become powerful heirs of noble families, while he was reborn as an ant, the lowest on the food chain?
“Am I doomed to live as an ant forever?”
“No!”
“I will become the Overlord of the Abyss!”
“I will be the nightmare of all races!”
“I will take control of my destiny!”
“I will...”
In the midst of his defiant outcry against his cruel fate, a pebble struck his head, cutting off his roar.
A black ant, larger than himself, then loomed before him.
The Big Black Ant’s mandibles twitched as it barked in insect tongue, “Number 9527 Soldier Ant, what are you doing? Get to your post and protect the Queen Ant!”
The Big Black Ant escorted Lee Tian to an anthill.
Upon arrival, he discovered a spider ensnared atop the hill, besieged by countless ants. Likely paralyzed by the overwhelming formic acid, its movements were feeble and sluggish.
It looked like this spider’s time had come to meet its end here today.
“You’re going to meet your maker at my hands!”
Lee Tian gazed at the spider teetering on the brink of death, a surge of lethal intent emanating from his diminutive form.
He had an epiphany, recalling what the Infinite Evolution System had mentioned: he could acquire the necessary Evolution Points and Experience Points for leveling up and growing stronger by hunting other creatures.
This spider, then, on the cusp of death, was a bounty of experience ripe for the taking!
“Time to claim that spider!”
With a battle cry, he dashed toward the large spider, now besieged by a swarm of ants.
To Lee Tian, once human, now a member of the Ant Clan, the spider loomed as a colossal beast, its size dwarfing that of any ant.
His actions were swift, his human consciousness granting him a level of intelligence and agility that surpassed his ant peers.
He scurried up the spider’s back, zeroing in on the most vulnerable part of its head. With the formidable pincers at the front of his mandibles, he clamped down fiercely!
