Prologue: He's Back
Ding dong!
The doorbell rang for the second time. Grunting, the man stopped the water and donned a towel before stepping out of the shower. Sighing , he made his way over, dripping wet down the steps, toward the door. The doorbell rang once again.
“Alright, I am coming!” the man announced.
What could be so important?he wondered as he stopped before the door and opened it.
Standing before him was a young, prepubescent girl with curly, blonde hair and sparkling blue eyes. Moreover, she had on her signature girl scout uniform as well as the smile he found annoying. In her hand was a package that was wrapped on Christmas wrappings.
“Good morning, Mr.Barclay , ” she began. ” I noticed a package in front of your door so I decided to let you know about it.” She gave him a small, chipped tooth smile.
“Uh, thank you?” he shrugged. He took the package from her.
I could have found it myself eventually,he thought.I didn’t need an annoying little brat to let me know every time a package is dropped in front of my door.
“Mr.Barclay, can I ask a question?” the brat asked.
“I don’t know, can you?” He raised a brow. “You can since you just asked me if you can ask a question.”
“You are funny!” She giggled. “The question is will my breasts be as big as yours?”
The man’s answer to her question was to slam the door shut in her face.
“Kids these days,” he grumbled as he went back inside. He set the unknown package on the kitchen table before running to his room to dress. After throwing on a pair of jeans and a black t-shirt, the man went back to the kitchen to tend to the parcel. This time, he was ready.
So he decides to show up,he thought as he clasped his shotgun in his arms.I have a surprise for him.
He waited for about an hour to no avail. He sighed as he shifted in his position.
Perhaps I was wrong, he was not planning to show up.
Before he could stand up to attend to his daily chores, a small tearing sound caught his attention. The man stopped in his tracks and whirled around to view the spectacle. A small doll-sized hand shot through the gift wraps. The gentleman stood by and watched as the figure tore itself free of its restraints and turned its ugly head to gaze around the room.
The man chuckled. ” I was expecting you, Chucky. I thought you would come sooner. What took you so long?”
The doll, a Good Guy doll to be precise, turned its head around and trained its piercing eyes on him. Upon spotting the man, it chuckled mischeivously.
“Andy! I am so glad to see you! Did you miss me? I sure missed you.”
Andy smirked. “I missed you, too. There is something I need to do that I should have done all those years ago.”
“What’s that?”
The Chucky doll turned to face him. Andy pointed his gun at him.
The killer doll’s eyes grew wide. “Oh fuck.”
“I have two words for you,. Andy’s smirk widened as he cocked his gun. “Fuck you.”
With those words, he shot the doll in the head. Seeing the blood and gore spread around the kitchen, a thin smile played upon the man’s face.
He had it coming.
