Nathan Hale lives and breathes basketball. He loves the thrill of the game, the crowd, and playing along his best friends. He's on track to being drafted, and nothing ever throws off his game. That is until a fiery brunette journalism student is assigned to the basketball team, and try as he might, he can't stop thinking about her. Abby Beckett is very serious about her future. For years she's dreamed of getting out of the home that was once filled with so much love, but is now overflowing with problems. She has to be strong not just for herself, but her younger sister as well. When the editor of the paper screws her over by giving her the basketball column, she is certain that her future is doomed. And worse, she has to spend the year with the biggest arrogant playboys on campus? Through it all, Nathan might find that not all distractions are bad, and Abby might learn that she does not have to carry the weight of the world on her shoulders all alone.
