Hello! Thank you so much for clicking on Risky Business. I hope you're excited to read it! I'm having so much fun working on this story. Here's a couple of information about this book before you get started:

1 - Think of this story as a TV show. It has multiple POVs that guide you through the story with interconnected storylines, episodes and seasons.

2 - Each episode starts with a tabloid post that sets the tone and mood (as well as some of the plot threads) of the episode. If you liked Gossip Girl, then it will work similarly to that.

2 - You can have early access to this story if you so wish, although chapters will be free sometime after their release for paid subscribers.

3 - This is still a first draft, so I appreciate your understanding if you catch any typos or grammar errors. There shouldn't be any continuity errors, but sometimes those escape me.

I hope you're excited. Thank you if you've read this far. This is my most ambitious writing project to date, and I hope you have fun reading it as much as I've been loving working on it. I'll say hi to you every chapter in the author's notes with updates, extra insight and a question about the chapter that I'd love your input on.

Summary

Love. Money. Power. Secrets. Is it all fair in business? When Caleb Wolf finds himself on the cover of the ruthless tabloid, Click!, while dealing with a big negotiation for his Sportswear brand, he realises that to be taken seriously by his parents, his company executives and the media, he might have to play their game. Nina Rodriguez escaped to the city to leave behind a past she doesn't want to confront. Working at Wolf Sportswear as Caleb's assistant has offered her that, but it all comes crashing down when her sister contacts her again, bringing forth old memories, painful wounds, and bad habits Nina thought forgotten. Whilst Caleb plays this futile game by dating strangers and Nina tries to make sense of her past while helping her best friend and roommate deal with her messy relationship, the two find that they share more than just their office space. However, when deals are signed and promises are contractual, they face the old tale question of whether risking it all for one another is worth it. Caleb could lose everything. Nina isn't sure if she's worth it. In business, some risks offer a bigger reward. Is love the same as business? And when risking for it, what should you expect in return?

Episode 1 - Comebacks

[Click! Exclusive] Caleb Wolf and Lola Fleming: Business or Pleasure?

It’s true, Clickers, it looks like our most beloved bachelor might be out of the market. Caleb Wolf, the CEO of Wolf Sportswear, was spotted with none other than Lola Fleming, the female golfer superstar who has been making headlines for her incredible performance and amazing competition attires (have we moved on from the pink tennis dress? Because I haven’t!).

The two were spotted yesterday having dinner at the exclusive restaurant Fifth Palace. According to our sources, Caleb rented out the entire restaurant just for them (how sweet!), required a special menu to be created for the occasion (I wish!) and even hired a special pianist (I’m officially swooning!). The couple probably wanted to keep it under wraps for now, but we got a good picture just for you as Caleb and Lola left the restaurant in the same car.

I don’t know about you, Clickers, but I smell romance in the air. This is the first time since Click!’s creation that we’ve seen Caleb with someone. This dinner must mean something special, right? Look at it: they’re both single and love sports (one is an athlete, the other owns a sportswear company, duh) and they look so good together. A power couple if you ask me.

It’s true that Lola’s contract with Wolf Sportswear is expiring soon (and I’m sure they want to keep her close considering the success she’s having in the sport) but why go to such lengths to convince someone to stay with your company? Wouldn’t they have their lawyers negotiate that kind of stuff?
