Two girls who grew up together Alaya and Treena were the best of friends. When they get into high school they start to grow apart because of their different beliefs. After one of them loses her life to a tragedy, the other friend realizes that she can't live without her. As the years go by that friend eventually meets a mysterious man by the name of Tré. He finally fills that void in her heart after losing her best friend. Everything is starting to get back to normal. It's all too good to be true but Tré has a terrible secret that he is hiding that could bring the past back up to haunt her.

Miriam: I liked the way the plot was set up and then the relationship progressed. Some may not like the discretion but it all led up to a very happy ending with a bit of suspense leading up to it. Definitely a cliffhanger. Waiting for a follow-up.
