"Overall, this is an extremely solid beginning to a promising story! The main character, Chase, exudes a confidence in herself and her femininity that is rarely seen and sorely needed. Chase (and by extension the author) has a well-developed sense of identity, and a delightful attention to detail. The descriptions of setting, other characters, even Chase herself show how immersed the author is in this world, and the reader is completely enveloped inside while reading. The Mystery Man holds a great amount of intrigue and leaves the reader wanting to know so much more about him, and where Chase may find him again. I especially loved the side character and hope to see more of her in the coming chapters. As a reader, this held my interest intently, and I'm looking forward to reading more! Well done! "
