Chapter 1

''Keep up, old lady. You're slacking!" Steve mocked as he rapidly punched at a very pissed off but also very beautiful woman who blocked most of the hits.

"It's the natural color, you know that. I don't think you have any right to comment on my age, Mr 1920." She growled, successfully jabbing him twice in the gut, a bit winded herself.

"Maybe not but at least I'm still fresh." He smirked, blocking each of her punches without fail while wearing a cocky smirk.

"Fresh from the freezer! Maybe your heart hasn't thawed yet and that's why you're a Capsicle!"

His smirk dropped and he dropped low, dashing under her to take out her legs. Her back smacked the floor hard as she landed.

"I was frozen solid and you still can't keep up, you weak little bitch." He snickered, standing beside her.

Her eyes got hard as steel and she used tai- Quan do to wrap herself around his leg and knock him down too, still gripping his leg between hers and holding tight.

"Fuck you, Rogers!"

"In your dreams!" he managed to pry her hands off and delivered a solid kick that sent her skittering across the floor like a rock on a lake.

"Not even! I don't fuck pretty boys like you-no substance." She coughed as he stood and waited for her to do he same.

"At least I am pretty." He shrugged.

She slightly shakily stood, body and lungs burning from effort and taking his hits.

"At least I've kissed Nat."

That struck a nerve. It was no secret that Steve had a thing for the red head, but she had made it very clear that she wasn't interested.

"And what a kiss it was!" Thor piped up from his insane sized custom dumbbells that had to be moved with a crane if he wasn't there. They both looked over at him, having forgotten he was in there too.

"Couple more shots and I'll do it again!" Prism laughed, winking at Steve who -regretfully- couldn't get drunk due to his metabolism: making him extra jealous.

Steve stomped over and grabbed her by the collar of her shirt, slamming her against the padded wall and making her head bounce off it.

"Shut up." He growled into her face.

She glared coldly, hiding the fact that she was actually a bit scared right now. She was more durable than the average human but when it came to physical strength, Steve had her beat five times over.

Her ability to heal quickly was the only thing that made it safe for her to spar with Cap.

She'd relied on her magic most of her life and only managed to be slightly stronger than the average woman. In a hand to hand match, Steve could and would steamroll her.

"Jealous that you'll never know what she tastes like?" Prism winked with a smirk- never mind the fact that it was only once and they were both drunk.

His icy eyes burned with rage and she knew she should have quit while she was ahead but it was too late to stop now.

Now she had to accept it.

She closed her eyes and braced as he brought his fist back only for it to be caught by the God of thunder himself, "That's enough. You've won."

Still trying to appear unaffected or even amused, Prism opened her eyes and looked hard at the man who's head was easily ten inches above hers.

Steve glared down at her, still with Thor holding his fist that remained in the launch position while the other held her to the wall.

After a few seconds of silence, he relaxed and dropped his arms.

"Play nice, kids. You've got fans to fool." Tony tutted as he entered the training room with a camera in hand, not alarmed by the position he found them all in.

Prism rolled her eyes, "Again?"

"Yes, again. Be glad it's just Instagram or you'd have to kiss on live TV again."

Both Steve and Priz gagged.

Thor chuckled and stepped to the side to avoid being in the frame.

"Come on, get in there!" Tony pushed the two Avengers to stand inches apart, facing one another.

Steve begrudgingly placed his hands on her narrow waist and ducked his head to rest his forehead against hers - not even a little sweaty.

"Come on, guys. You really have to sell it!" Tony urged as he took photos with his high resolution camera.

"She's too short. This is uncomfortable." Steve grumbled, bending down a little more to rest his nose against hers.

"The fans love it. The height difference, it's a thing it's adorable or whatever. Just look like you're in love."

Steve snickered in her face, ignoring her steely glare.

"I wish they shipped me with Thor."

"So do I." He countered.

"Picture now, bicker later. You're training hand to hand and end up making goo goo eyes. Alright? Go!"

Prism slid her hand up his bicep and got on her toes a little, putting on a close lipped smile and a smitten expression.

Tony snapped away. "Finally!" when he stopped and lowered the camera they jumped back as if the other was covered in acid- both looking pissed off.

"Too bad they don't like Natasha with me. Then maybe it wouldn't have to be so fake."

"Its never gonna happen with her, Captain Desperate." Prism hissed. In a flash he suplexed her flat onto her back on the mat.

"Millions of women would die for a night with me, you know."

She grunted upon impact and glared up at him, getting up swiftly and sweeping out his legs to knock him on his ass.

"They only like you because you're America's Ass. They don't know you're really an asshole." She spat, standing up and striding off.

Tony rolled his eyes and left the room after her.
