Why is this happening? What are you doing? Those were all the questions razing through my mind when I realized that I found myself in the worst possible situation. A blade running at me, the edges as sharp as any I’ve seen yet, looking worse because of the person holding it. “Huh?” I shouldn’t have said that word. That singular word, if it could even be called one. I could’ve spent my energy doing something else. Laugh, reminisce, literally do anything else. But the best that I could’ve done… was run…No, that’s not true. My life has always been just like a fun time with laughs and screams of joy in this world of royalty, where I’m now realizing I wasn’t wanted, and don’t want to be.
