Summary

Rewritten version of TPN prequel for the Perfect Series. Cage Trevor hides behind his golden boy mask, fooling everybody that he has it all. For so long he told everyone, and himself lies that he's okay. That the poison he has inhaled daily over the years from his mother isn't slowly killing him. He doesn't let anyone get truly close friends, or girls terrified he'll destroy them with that very poison. The girl's who he had rejected in the past saw him as this challenge, they wanted to be the one to claim the golden boy. Even though he carefully kept his heart locked away, keeping everyone at a safe distance, there was one girl who unintentionally caged it. He has been secretly in love with Aurora Williams for years, and never in his life did he think she would be his. And even if she wasn't... She'll always be the only one he wants to cage his heart. Hello everyone! I am super excited to have FINALLY finished Cage My Heart the rewritten prequel to The Perfect Mistake. This is currently unedited so if any mistakes are found please leave a comment I would really appreciate it. I know it took me awhile to write this and the TPM rewrite I just have really lacked any motivation to write pretty much anything lately, I even tried switching genres. Which worked... briefly. I now am the very (not really🤣) proud writer of three chapters for a fantasy book. The chapters are okay, maybe if I get more written I'll post it, but we can't all be a Rebecca. (Yarros - Fourth Wing) (Ross - Devine Rivals)

If you haven't read either of those I suggest you do they were amazing!
