Choose Wisely!
"Celeste was never looking for love in her life. With her difficult mother, push over father and her unique good looks causing the envy of most of her classmates, all Celeste ever truly wanted was to be left alone to endure high school in peace. But that was before she met Cole. A wolf almost as unique as Celeste, he seems smitten with the girl. Celeste can’t help but admire his gray eyes, jet black hair and the confident slant of his smile. Many girls have their eyes on Cole, but he only seems interested in her, and he proves it to Celeste with a magical trip on his back in wolf form. As Celeste clings to Onyx (Cole’s wolf name) as they travel through the woods, Celeste decides to reconsider. Maybe falling love is not such a terrible thing after all. This was a sweet tale about a high school romance that makes you want to root for the protagonists. Especially Celeste who is my favorite. I can relate to some of her situations (like being the envy of certain people who want to tear you down.) Be sure to give this novel a try. It’s bound to earn a smile. "
Interesting Plot
"So far I'm really enjoying the plot and charecters. The author is very good at creating relatable charecters. Although, there was a sub plot with a support charecter (Beth I think) that I didn't quite follow. There are a few punctuation issues- missing periods and commas (particularly in dialog. Here is an example of what it should look like, "So and so said," or "said so and so,"). Aside from that the dialog is really strong. A little less "telling" and a little more "showing" the action would help as well. I really recommend plotting out the chapters and events beforehand. For a first draft this is good work. "
