Fantastic Coming-of Age novel
"Ok so let me start by saying that I was pleasantly surprised by this book. If you have read this author before, then you know she has a penchant for very dark themes. However, I am happy to report that this book is a bit more light-hearted. That being said the story plot is fantastic. Owen the titular character is quite the piece of work. Rich, charming, and mysterious a musician makes. As Owen and his best friend Isaias make the transition from boyhood to manhood, they run into a couple of messy bumps, find love/lust & hate(In that order)and experience tragedy. This coming-of-age story has a little bit of every thing;Drama, Love, Lust, Secrets(Lots & lots) and questionable paternity. What more can you ask for? "
