Fed up with their constant attacks, the villagers decided to take matters into their own hands. They constructed a clever trap made of ropes, nets, and sticks, all designed to capture the trolls and prevent them from ever causing trouble again.
As night fell, the trolls made their usual appearance in the village, laughing and causing chaos. But this time, the villagers were ready. They lured the trolls into the trap, ensnaring them in its clever mechanisms.
The trolls struggled and fought against their captors, but it was no use. The villagers had finally caught them, and they had no intention of letting them escape.
The trolls begged for mercy, promising to never return to the village again. But the villagers were firm in their decision. They banished the trolls from their lands, sending them running back into the depths of the forest where they belonged.
