Possibly actually quite good
""There are times when a critic truly risks something, and that is in the discovery and defense of the new" - Anton Ego Riion's prose is both grounded and engaging, giving enough detail to keep the reader invested, yet leaving enough to the imagination and unknown to reel the reader into the story, keeping a fine balance. His world is strong, comprised of various animal cultures that peak the reader's curiosity. The characters thus far have received relatively little development. Despite this, it is impressive how easy it is to differentiate between the fox characters as each has their own distinct design and personality. The story has an excellent hook: a wolf wandering around fox territory when interactions between the two species have been few and hostile at that. At this early in the writing stage, the only strong critique I can give is to Riion's grammar; a few sentences here and there sounded rather awkward in my head but it does very little to dampen the experience of reading Chronicles of the Fox Clans. Riion's investment in the characters inhabiting this world he has created leads me to suspect that perhaps he is a fox himself."
