Prologue
A long sigh escaped my lips....
I've been working since morning without any breaks. It's been a long day and I can't wait to be in my bed. After packing my stuff I went to the elevator and pressed the button to the ground floor. I smiled at the receptionist at the front desk and made my way outside.
As soon as I stepped outside a gush of cold wind hit me, I tightened my coat around me and unlocked my car. I breathed a sigh of relief when the heaters started working.
The roads were comparatively busier today so I took a shortcut to my house not knowing that it'll be my worst decision yet.....
