"There is extreme power imbalance between the couples in this story. Yeiji is forced to marry a man because apparently she cheated because of a bet from her lover. Yeiji can't fight emotionally or physically even though she's really smart and that is where the imbalance has started. Spoiler Alert: eventually she starts caving in a little. That's not love. That's your brain adapting to the impossible situation. And there's a part where Taewang starts with the history narration. Nothing helped me understand Taewang's character. Tbh I don't want to understand Taewang's character anymore. I just want Yeiji to run away, far far far away.. My complaints aside, I think this is a good story. It shows what someone can do if they are given unlimited power. I have decided to finish this book because I want to know what the ending will be like so of course I will write a second review here too. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎"
