After finishing the last kill in battle, Jabare gathers the rest of his men and heads home to kiss his wife and children, but first, he has to report to the Pharaoh. It was a long journey home and more and more of his men were dying off from dehydration and hunger. It was only five of them left not including the Captain. “Captain we are almost home”, said Nkosi. Jabare shook his head and smiled, he was happy to see his home, he’d been gone for a long time. “It’s so good to be home”, He told his men and they all nodded and hurried right along.

They made their way to the Pharaoh’s Temple and told him all about their journey and all the people they lost. They walked in and stopped at the door before entering the Throne room to drop their weapons off before meeting the Grand Supreme. As they walked in the Pharaoh was talking to his one of many advisors, until he saw him walking in. “Jabare... My trustworthy captain and friend, how was the battle?” He asked him.

Jabare looked sad and pained,

“I’m sorry Pharaoh we came out victorious, but we lost many men in battle and on the journey home” ” he told the Pharaoh with hurt in his voice.

These were his men, he trained them and at with these men, and now they’re gone.

“You made it back, my friend, and you made it back with some and that’s better than none”.

Jabare looked up at the Pharaoh and saw sadness as well, “Yes Pharaoh” ” he said with a hand over his chest and a quick bow.

“What are the names of the men, that returned home with you?” he looked at the men behind Jabare. “Here”, He pointed to the man who was tall, muscular, and had hazel eyes. “He is Nkosi my second in command”, Nkosi stepped forward put his hand over his heart did a quick bow, and then stepped back.

“This is Ammon” ” he pointed to the man standing next to Nkosi, He was shorter than him and Nkosi but, he was a very skilled soldier. He had brown eyes and was lean but still had muscle which made him strong and fast.

“Next to Ammon is Donkor”, Donkor stepped forward, bowed to the pharaoh, and stepped back in place. “Next to Donkor is Maat and then their Bast”, Both men stepped forward and bowed to the pharaoh.

“I thank you all for protecting our Egypt, our home so now I excuse you to go home to your loved ones” ” he said while dismissing them.

After taking their last bow, the men walk out grab their weapons, and head home. After saying farewell to his men, he takes his walk and admires his home.

How much he misses his home and his people. He came to the door and stopped, he wanted to soak up this feeling of finally being home.

He opened the door, and before he could get a word out the children rushed to him and gave him the biggest hugs in the world.

He laughed and cried tears of joy and after he put them down and walked to his wife kissed her and gave her a big hug.

After putting the kids to bed after

telling them a story about my journey, well the good parts places outside of Egypt. They want to travel the world and see outside of Egypt too.

Getting back to our room, I see my wife lying naked on our bed soaking up the moonlight. I walked towards the bed, looking into each other’s eyes, seeing nothing but desire and a long wait from seeing each other.

“I missed you so much, dear husband” ” she said with a hungry smile. While looking at what she’s been missing for too long. He came and held her in his arms, then grabbed her face between his hands and kissed her hard and passionately. She returned his passion, she grabbed his neck with her hands to pull him closer to her. He picked her up and laid her on the bed, he started kissing her neck and then grabbing her breast in his hand. He’s kissing her chest and moving his way down and starts kissing her thigh and she moans in a desire of wanting more. His tongue moved down to her clitoris and she lifted her back, biting her bottom lip. He put her legs over his shoulders and began work. It felt so good she could hold her bottom lip, no longer, she had to let out a huge moan.

How much she has missed him, how much she loves him with her whole heart. She missed being close to him, she grabbed his face before he was done pleasing her. He looked at her with confusion, seeing tears in her eyes. She put her lips on his and kissed him with passion saying so much with that kiss. He leaned into the kiss, telling her how much he missed her as well, and how much he needed her. She climbed on him and began making love to her one true love.

After making love to each other, they were in bed telling each other over almost a year of not seeing each other. She told him how the kids doing in school, and he told her that it was bad, and how many good friends died. They just held each other in their arms and drifted off to sleep.

Jabare woke up and wanted to surprise his family with breakfast, but before he could get out of bed, he looked over and saw his wife was gone.

He got out of bed and put on his shendyt and went to the dining room and saw them talking at the table. “Good morning family”, he told them. Before he sat down and kissed his kids on their heads and kissed his wife and sat down.

Sitting down to eat Ful Medammes with his family and letting them know that he doesn’t have to work today, he’s staying home. Suddenly there was a knock on the door, He got up to answer the door and saw the Pharaoh’s messenger.

Jabare thought to himself, what could be happening now? The messenger gave him a scroll and took his leave, he closed the door went back to his seat opened it, and read it.

“So ... what do the Pharaoh want”, she asked him with a concerned look on her face. “He needs to speak with me tomorrow morning”, he told them.

“Is he having you go back out? You just got home?” She asked him.

“I don’t know... maybe, I guess I’ll find out tomorrow”, He told them with a reassuring look.

That everything will be ok, no matter what. He just wanted to focus on the positive and spending time with his family no matter how much time he had with them.

“What do you want to do today”? He asked his family, trying to change the subject and lighten the mood.

“We can play games and go on a family walk and before dinner, you can help us with our homework and then after dinner tell us a story” ” his daughter and son told him.

He just laughed, “Of course, we can do all of those things”, He told them with a smile.

They played Senet, Mehen, and Dogs and Jackals, then they went out on a family walk and he told their guards that they didn’t have to accompany, but they came anyway.

While on their walk they went horse riding at their stable. On their way home, they stopped at a few shops and got some fruit and he got his wife a beautiful bracelet and matching earrings that were gold and turquoise. Back at home, everyone washed their hands and feet, and the kids played Senet while their cook prepared dinner.

The cook told them dinner was ready, and they sat at the table and everything looked so good. There was meat, Koshari and Konafa, and Roz Bel Laban. After dinner, he helped the kids get ready for bed told them a story, and kissed them goodnight.

He kissed his wife goodnight and went to sleep himself he was exhausted from a long and great day with his family, and he thanked the gods for blessing him with a great day and a loving family.

The next day he got dressed in his professional attire, to meet the Pharaoh and see what was going on now. He got into his chariot and he and one of his guards make their way to the palace. While on his way to the Pharaoh’s palace, he took in the scenery of his beloved Egypt.

Pulling into the grounds, he steps out and makes his way inside the Pharaoh’s meeting room. Where he conducts business talks to the Advisors and Head soldiers and discusses everything before moving the discussion to the throne room.

“Good morning Pharaoh”, Said Jabare. The Pharaoh nodded, “How is the family?” asked the Pharaoh. “They’re great, thank you Pharaoh”, he told him. The Pharaoh then turned serious and you could see on his face, that something was wrong.

“What is wrong Pharaoh?“, he asked the Pharaoh. “We got word that a man, who is a leader of some bandits, wants to go to war with us”, One of the Pharaoh’s advisors spoke up. “What? Who is this man?“, Jabare asked them.

“He said he was from Syria and he wants to bring great honor to Syria or something like that”, said the Pharaoh while waving his hands dismissing the idea of what the intentions are from this man.

“He said his name is Adnan, they said he has a lot of men and they go around slaughtering people”, said an Advisor. They said he and his men turn into a monster or they are monsters” ” the Pharaoh told them.

“What do you mean they turn into monsters”? He asked them. “We don’t know, but we don’t believe that’s true”, said the Pharaoh.

“Pharaoh when is he coming for this big battle?“, Jabare asked. “We got until Shemu and it’s already PERET”, said the short advisor. “We got only a short time to get the soldiers and people ready”, said the Pharaoh.

“That’s enough time, I can get the men ready and have soldiers prepare the people, just in case the battle follows us home”, Jabare told them.

“Ok go and give out the orders to the soldiers and the people of Egypt and let them know war is coming”, said the Pharaoh. Everyone bowed and took their leave but the queen and the young prince.

He went back home to work on the orders that were going out, and have the men meet him at the training grounds in an hour.

He wrote two orders and gave one to each messenger and had one go to each soldier and have them meet him for important business, and have the others go to the nobles, and have them spread the word about what’s to come to stock up on food and water.

“What did the Pharaoh want? Do you have to leave back out?“, she asked standing at the door. “No not right now, but we have to go into serious training”, he told her. She looked at him, with a questionable look on her face, waiting for him to finish.

“War might be coming to Egypt if we don’t stop them before they enter... but we will”, he told her with a reassuring look on his face. She smiled back and went back with the children, he got up walked to the window, and sighed.

“What is this world coming to... please Ra help us”, He prayed to the Gods.

An hour passed and he made his way to the training grounds, and he saw his men already training, and he was so proud, he trained them well.

He saw Nkosi putting the men through rough training, but necessary training. Even though I’m a general and noble, I like to be treated like a captain for my men can come to me with any problems they might have.

“Men! We are here today because someone is threatening Egypt and its people”, He told them, and he saw the angry looks on their faces.

He filled them in on all the details, “They will not succeed because we will stop them no matter what”, He told them with every bit as confident as he felt.

Training began with spear training and moved to swords, then hand-to-hand combat. They’d been there training for eight hours, but nobody wanted to go because they had to protect their people and Egypt even though they would be back tomorrow.

“Men! It’s time to call it a day, we will pick this up tomorrow, go home, and rest”, he told them. They picked up their weapons hung them up and headed out, it was only Jabare and his five captains who stayed behind to come up with a game plan.

“Are you serious about the rumors about them turning into monsters”? Nkosi asked him. Jabare shook his head yes and told them that the Pharaoh and his advisors didn’t think they turned into anything but murderers.

“The Pharaoh said we have a month but I’m worried that we will run out of time to be ready”, he told his captains. They stood around and pondered on what extra thing they could come up with a master plan.

“Do you think the Pharaoh will come to battle with us on this one General?“, Asked Ammon. Jabare shrugged his shoulders, he hated when his close friends and captains got so formal.

“I don’t think it will be a good idea, but who will be able to stop him if he decides to go in”, he told them. They all nodded their heads in agreement with Jabare. After talking for another thirty minutes, some laughter and some debate they waved goodbye.

After a long day of training, he makes his way home and just tired and wants to go to sleep, but he knows he has to eat. He sat at the table quietly and ate his Fattah with beef. His family just sat there quietly and ate, they saw how tired he was and didn’t want to add on any more stress.

She wanted to ask him how it went but she just stayed quiet. After he ate, he got up and kissed his children walked up to his wife grabbed her out of the chair and kissed her with passion, and hugged her tightly.

He let her go and went into their room and went to sleep, he just didn’t want them to think he was mad at them, he was just tired.

Tomorrow was a new day, but it came with more training, what could they do to have an edge in this battle that endangered his home and his people? All they can do is train until they can’t train anymore.

It’s time for the soldiers to move into the training grounds, he decided to give them one more day with their families, then it’s time to move in and he included in this move as well.

He will come and see them and check on his family but will stay and train and the grounds. He had a dream that everything was burning, and he could hear screams from all over, his people dying.

He woke up in night terror and sweating so much, that he got up and wiped his forehead and went to go get a drink of water. He went into his office and looked over Egypt and it was quiet and peaceful. After calming down and taking in everything, he went back to bed so he could start his day.

The morning sun came in and awoken from his sleep got on his training armor and went into the dining room to eat breakfast with his family before leaving.

The children were so happy to see their father they got up and greeted him with a hug, then sat back down at the table. He kissed his wife before taking his seat, she smiled and put a plate of Falafel, and then took her seat next to him and they began eating breakfast.

After breakfast, he told his family that if anything doesn’t go to plan, do not come looking for him, just stay at the palace with the Queen and the Prince. Then he took his leave for the training grounds, his chariot waiting to take him and return him home when he was ready.

He made his way to the grounds and grabbed his sword, shield, and spears. Everyone knows he’s the General, from his armor to his shield and weapons and how he carries himself.

He walked into the grounds and his men stood in a straight line and bowed to him and raised their heads. “Alright men... it is day two of training to protect our Pharaoh, Egypt, and our people”, He told his men.

The five captains took their twenty men and I had my forty men and then once these men were done with their training, they had another hundred and forty men to train then they had to train Archers and chariot soldiers.

They have one thousand and forty men to train, which will take a month exactly and that’s all they have to get battle-ready.

The men were training very hard, and I was very proud of them. This was great because, in the middle of training, word came in that a fire from an arrow hit the city.

No one knows where it came from, “ok men, spread out and see what you can find out”, He told them in irritation. He wanted to know if his family were alright, but he had a job to do and he needed to check on the royal family first, and he would have one of the men go and check on them.

Ammon walked into the palace with him, while Nkosi and the men continued to search for an intruder. Egypt is proud, and so is its people, so they will protect it with their lives.

They ran up the palace stairs and went to the throne room. There they saw the Pharaoh, the Queen, and the prince surrounded by place guards.

“General what is going on?” asked the Pharaoh, holding his family. “Someone fired fire arrows into the city”, He told the Pharaoh.

The Pharaoh got angry and banged his hand on his leg. “Did any of our people find the intruder yet?“, Pharaoh asked.

Jabare shook his head. “I haven’t gotten word yet Pharaoh but I’m on my way back out to help in the search”, he told him in response.

Pharaoh nodded and Jabare and his men bowed and took their leave. They ran back into the city to get some answers and catch the intruder, he caught up with the rest of the troops and gathered a report of what they found out.

“Have we gathered any information that I can take back to the Pharaoh?” he asked them.

“We know twenty people died”, Nkosi told him. He tapped his foot, trying to push out the sadness he was feeling, he had to focus. “Anything else?” he asked angrily.

“Some people said they heard howling before and after the arrows were shot in the city”, said Donkor.

He paced back and forth, trying to contemplate what was going on. “Do you think it’s Adnan general?” asked Bast in anger.

“If it is... it doesn’t explain the howling unless it was code”, he told them. “Code?” asked Maat. “Yes, a code... to let them know when to shoot and when to leave for no one will get caught”, he said.

“they fired the first shot, which means war”, said Donkor. Nkosi stepped back in after talking to another soldier,

“That could be their plan... they want us to leave so they can destroy Egypt and the people” ” he said with a hint of anger across his face.

“Everyone’s on patrol night, the palace guards already have their assignments, Now Go!” He told his men.

He went to his post close to the palace because he knew that they would have to go through him to get to the pharaoh.

Hours pass by and the night sky is silent.

“Send a hawk and find out Anything!”

Ha told one of his men, angrily.

Yes Sir! He saluted and took off to do his job.

“Sir we have asked for words from the other posts and we should have word in minutes”, one of his men reported.

He just nodded and went to focus on the task at hand. Waiting for word from the other post.

“Sir we gotten word from the other post”, he said passing me a scroll.

“So there’s nothing, what are they waiting for?“, I said angrily.Start writing here…
