This story is short!

Hayley stood backstage waiting to go onstage to perform. Her album was number one on the Billboard Charts. She was on tour with Jessica Simpson and waiting to go onstage when her cell phone rang.
“Hello,” Hayley said.
“Hey baby,” Nick said.
“Nicky, where are you!” Hayley said.
“In Denver, and you are in LA,” Nick said.
“I miss you so much,” Hayley said.
“I miss you, too, but you know what, when the tours are over, we will be home at the same time,” Nick said.
“I can’t wait to be in your arms again,” Hayley said.
“Me either, baby, I love you so much, don’t worry, I am being completely faithful to you,” Nick said.
Hayley and Nick have had their ups and downs with him sleeping with girls on the road. Hayley told him that if he ever is unfaithful to her again, she was gone from his life forever.
“You better be, I can’t be heartbroken again,” Hayley Said.
“You won’t be,” Nick said. She heard a snicker in the background and a girl giggling and talking to Nick in a sexy voice.
“Nick?” Hayley asked.
“Yeah,” Nick said.
“Are you cheating on me?” Hayley asked.
“No, it’s just a groupie,” Nick said. Hayley saw them motioning that it was time.
“I have to go, we will talk about this later,” Hayley said hanging up and she went onstage and performed. After she finished, she went to her dressing room and called Nick.
“Hello,” a girl answered.
“Uh, is Nick there?” Hayley asked.
“He’s a little busy right now,” the girl said.
“Who is this?” Hayley asked.
“The name is Tammy, who’s this?” she said.
“This is Hayley, his girlfriend!” Hayley said.
“He said he didn’t have a girlfriend, you must think you are but he is totally single and having fun with me, goodbye,” Tammy said. She hung up. Hayley hung up and laid down and cried.
Hayley laid there crying when Brian and Leighanne came in.
“Hayley,” Brian said.
“He’s cheating on me again,” Hayley said.
“Are you sure?” Brian asked.
“Some girl named Tammy, she answered his phone, she said he told her that he was single and having fun with her,” Hayley said as she started sobbing. Leighanne sat down and hugged her. Brian left the room and called Kevin. Brian went back in and sat down and took Hayley into his arms.
“We are here for you,” Brian said. Hayley held onto him and cried.

Kevin arrived in Denver and went to Nick’s hotel. After getting clearance, he asked for Nick’s room and went up and knocked on the door. The door opened and a girl stood there.
“Can I help you?” she asked.
“Is Nick here,” Kevin said.
“He’s asleep, and you are?” she asked.
“I’m Kevin Richardson, and you must be Tammy,” Kevin said.
“Yeah, his girlfriend,” Tammy said.
“Did he actually say you were,” Kevin said.
“In the throes of passion when we were having sex,” Tammy said.
“Let’s see about it now,” Kevin said pulling her in and into the bedroom where Nick was sprawled out on the bed, naked. Kevin went and sat her down and told her not to move. He went over to the bed and shook Nick.
“Nick, get up,” Kevin said. Nick woke and saw him and sat up.
“Get dressed,” Kevin said. Nick got dressed. Kevin motioned Tammy and they all went out to the living room and sat down.
“Who is this, Nick,” Kevin said.
“Tammy,” Nick said.
“Is she your girlfriend?” Kevin asked.
“You know Hayley is,” Nick said.
“Tammy here said she was because you said so in the throes of passion last night while you two were having sex,” Kevin said.
“I was drunk last night, me and the guys in the band went out partying last night after the show,” Nick said.
“Brian just called me from LA, he’s with Hayley, you have screwed up this time, Hayley called here and Tammy told her that you said you were single and enjoying time with her,” Kevin said.
“Oh god,” Nick said.
“I would say you were definitely single now,” Kevin said.
“We aren’t boyfriend and girlfriend?” Tammy asked.
“I’m sorry, but no, I was drunk,” Nick said.
“Every guy has an excuse,” Tammy said. She got her stuff and left.
“When you are going to learn that Hayley can’t keep taking you back,” Kevin said.
“I don’t need you telling me that I screwed up when I know I already did!” Nick said.
“You need to stop this, you weren’t like this when we were on tour as a group,” Kevin said.
“Maybe I’m trying to get attention, maybe I miss being with the group!” Nick said.
“Then let’s get the guys together to work on a new album,” Kevin said.
“I’m canceling the rest of the tour,” Nick said.
“Nick, don’t, I’ll stay and help you, you only got two more cities left, might as well finish and we will get started on the new album,” Kevin said.

Hayley sat there in deep thought while Brian and Leighanne talked. Brian’s cell phone rang.
“Hello, hey Kevin, what is going on, huh, oh great, what, he was just trying to get attention from us, what, so he’s okay now, yeah, okay, bye,” Brian said. He looked at Hayley.
“What is the story?” Hayley asked.
“Kevin said that Nick told him that he was drunk last night, he and the guys from the band went out partying last night, that girl Tammy probably knew he was drunk and took advantage of it, she had the nerve to tell Kevin that she was Nick’s girlfriend, Kevin asked Nick and he said his girlfriend was you,” Brian said.
“Is that the story,” Hayley said.
“Yeah,” Brian said.
“I don’t buy it,” Hayley said.
“Nick never lies to Kevin, that’s for sure, he tried once but Kevin saw through him,” Brian said.
“Hayley, you two need to talk about this,” Leighanne said.
“I’m done, with everything, I am not going to take him back again,” Hayley said.
“Hayley,” Brian said.
“No, don’t even talk me out of it, he needs to grow up and realize that I am not going to keep taking him back, he needs to learn his lesson, I am not going to go down that road again,” Hayley said.
“He had plans after the tours were over, Hayley,” Brian said. Hayley looked at him.
“Plans?” Hayley asked.
“Yeah, it was suppose to be a surprise, before the tour, he and I went shopping, he got you an engagement ring, he was going to ask you to marry him after the tour was over, he had everything planned before the tour started,” Brian said. Hayley sat down.
