Chapter 1 The Accident

It was the start of her summer vacation and she decided to pull out the car to get to the shop which was a bit far away. Her hands were sweaty and she hated touching the steering wheel with it. The hot weather was a burden to everyone. The cars stopped at the red light and she also pushed the brakes of her car. She was living a peaceful life. It's a nice job and a place to stay. All of this was pretty nice. After spending all her youth working hard, this was something that she deserved. All that is what she told herself. She always felt a bit jealous whenever she saw her friends living comfortably even after spending all their lives partying and not paying much attention to their lives. Maybe Emma's jealousy was the cause of her lonely life now. Emma always asked herself was it worth it? Even after working hard all her life, she still got what everyone else got. 'I wanted more than this.' Emma thought to herself. Why was life so unfair? The red light eventually turned to green and started driving her car again but something felt off. She tried to look around but just then something crashed into the side of her car where her door was. It was too late, she felt the car tilt to one side and her head got hit somewhere which made her blackout.

Emma's eyes fluttered open and she realized she was still in her car. 'This doesn't seem good' she thought to herself. When she moved her head, she felt the stickiness and realized that she was bleeding uncontrollably from her head. The extreme pain piercing through her head was explained now. Emma then noticed the horns of the cars and the siren of the ambulance. Taking her breath in, she saw the memories with her family.

" You know that we will always going to be with you, wherever you go.."

Her brother's words came through her thoughts. She regretted leaving her family. Emma had always missed her family. Bearing the feeling of emptiness was never easy. 'I should have stayed with them' her thought came through her mind. She knew from inside that she had run out of time now. Her eyes fluttered closed but she was still hearing the sound of the siren. After a while, that also stopped, and she was engulfed in the darkness.
