Love this story
"This is a great piece of writing. Just loved this story of love and commitment along with so much sadness and happy years too. Choices have consequences and sometimes it’s the hardest thing you have to do to pay back for your choices in life. "
A Love Story Worth the Read
"Candace is one of my favorite Inkitt authors, and I was fortunate to have been assigned “Running Wilde” to judge for the Green Exchange Awards ‘25. With that said, this review is based on the first 10 and last 2 chapters of the story, per the conditions of the contest. This story follows Lyvia, a young girl who just wants to live her best, carefree life without the constraints her status and title requires. A secret friendship and love ultimately ensue, and with it consequences. Without giving the emotionally well-written story away, I’ll just say that this is a shifter story with much depth and heart and soul. Candace is an excellent writer and my only suggestions going forward are to work on crafting a more active vs passive voice, work on the ‘tell’ in the beginning chapters. But the grammar and technical work is well done, with such minimal errors they were very hard to find. I can’t wait to go back and read the chapters I skipped for the contest, then dig into Book 2! I highly recommend this read!"

"I read the second book first not knowing this book existed and am so glad I found this I absolutely loved reading it and finding out the history of lyvia the author is so talented with her use of descriptive language and hoe she can bring you right into the timelines this book takes place it is an absolute must read I cannot wait for wilde at heart to be updated so we can finish the story ❤️ amazing job author ❤️ "

"The story progresses well with a strong, brave protagonist, Lyvia, who matures as she seeks her freedom. The writing is descriptive and engaging, making the characters feel real, although a few typos were noticeable. The plot unfolds logically, though the ending felt rushed, leaving me wanting more emotional depth. The supporting characters like Ain and Miklos add richness, but the antagonist remains flat without much backstory. The blurb is clear, but the cover doesn’t quite grab attention or feel relevant to the story. Overall, it's an enjoyable read, with solid character development and an intriguing plot, but it could have benefitted from a more detailed conclusion and a stronger antagonist."
