A Different Kind of Midnight.

"Midnight is not always the deep dark blackness, to be feared. It can also mean hope in the form of Anika, who discovered her wolf-self at age ten. Her wolf glows with white fur, despite her wolf name of Midnight, and she hides her wolf from her family until she is eventually driven away from the pack. A wolf without a pack, is a wolf constantly attacked as Anika quickly learns. She is kidnapped by rouge wolves who only wants to use and abuse her body. Eventually, Anika is able to escape. Her brutal experiences have taught Anika that it is better to create her own pack family, instead of the one that she was born into. Anika quickly forms her wolf tribe and soon she becomes the Alpha of the powerful Star Moon pack. But such power creates enemies and the Star Moon’s are about to be engaged in war. She decides to go to her father for help. Will her father provide her with the extra support she needs? Or will he still see her as weak and a possible liability. Good story. It’s easy to empathize with Anika. After all, which one of us have never felt rejected. I liked Aaron a lot too, who most likely will end up as Anika’s mate. Unfortunately I don’t know what he looks like yet, but I’m sure author Ryes Lee 444 will provide the details in upcoming chapters. A fun book to read when you’re in the mood for a strong, female protagonist."
