Falling Like Seasons
"I think this is a great book. It has a nice flow and it's easy to read through. I'm glad the chapters show poetry elements such as repetition. Things like that enhance the story and make it easier to read. There weren't any punctuation or grammar errors that I noticed. Some sentences were confusing such as the one in the first chapter that said "They claim I come alive but once a year when bees harvest nectar from the petals." It seems to stop suddenly and can get very confusing. Can't wait for an update, happy writing!"

"The writing style of "Falling Like Seasons" is nothing short of beautiful and poetic. Despite its poetic nature, the story maintains a clear plot, although some of the locations can be a bit confusing at times. Lav's heart is shattered, and she feels like the walls of life are closing in on her. She poignantly states, "Trying too hard makes you look lonely," capturing her deep sense of despair. At that moment, she meets a guy who tries to lift her spirits. After his third attempt, she finally agrees to go with him, leading to an unexpected kiss that changes everything. Lav often feels insecure because Michael (I'm not entirely sure if I got the name right) is quite popular, while she is the opposite. Michael is an artist, and Lav is a poet, making for a beautifully complementary relationship. Lav shows remarkable strength when she stands up for herself against a ridiculing lady in the band, and Michael stands by her side, supporting her. His songs for her fill her mind with poems every time she lays eyes on him. Their love grows with the changing seasons, blossoming like trees in spring. I particularly appreciated how the writer includes a quote at the beginning of each chapter, which adds an enticing element to the story. These quotes set the tone and deepen the reader's connection to the unfolding events. Despite the occasional confusion with the locations, the plot is straightforward and compelling. The poetic style enriches the narrative, making the characters' emotions and experiences feel incredibly vivid and real. Lav and Michael's journey is a testament to the healing power of love and the beauty of finding a kindred spirit. A Poetic Romance!
"This story is so poetic! Filled with the beautiful inner monologue of the MC, lavender. And beautiful descriptions of scenery as well. It was so unexpected to see the entire story in prose. I love that! It is very unique while offering a pov that feels much like a dream. My note to the author would be to deepen the connection between the reader and this world by adding more about everyday life. Most of all the scenes are about Lav and Gabriel, sweet moments, or her thoughts of him. But what does she do or think about as herself? And how does Gabriel add to or intervene into her world? I think adding scenes that are void of romantic moments will help the reader to connect to the characters deeper which will make bigger moments feel earned. I was really curious about Gabriel himself but, not many moments were shown of himself. What is he like? What are his beliefs? What are his flaws? Most importantly how does he add to (or take away from ) lav’s life? I wasn’t sure if the the rose tinted perspective was intentional for any type of reveal so, I wanted to wait till the end to mention that. Your writing really reminds me of Laura Dave during the dialogue between the two of them! Really cool and unique!🤗 I hope the author continues to share her writing and beautiful poetic style and that she continues to develop the world of lavender and Gabriel’s love.❤️ "
