Before Lucas could respond, Luna ran back to them, holding a bag of candies with a radiant smile on her face. "Mommy, look what I bought!" Luna exclaimed, interrupting the tense moment between Solange and Lucas. Solange looked at her daughter with tenderness, grateful for her innocence and the timely distraction she had brought with her. "That's great, sweetheart. Now let's go home, okay?" Solange said, giving a quick glance to Lucas before taking Luna's hand and starting to walk towards their home.
