Handsome Sinister
"
A princess like you shouldn't have left her shoe like Cinderella,"
Moonlight cast an eerie glow over the Min mansion, where the sound of laughter and music drifted from within. But in the shadows, a lone figure stood, consumed by an unyielding thirst for revenge. His footsteps crunched on the dry underbrush in the backyard as he surveyed the mansion.
A rustling sound came from the darkness, and a man emerged, clad in black, with a swan brooch gleaming on his lapel. His voice was icy. "Is everything in place?" His eyes seemed empty, devoid of emotion.
A voice crackled through the earpiece. "Yes, everything's going smoothlyโ" A third voice interrupted, laced with nervousness. "I think I messed up."
The man's gaze turned glacial. "I told you, Park, no children." His eyes never left the mansion, his focus fixed on a particular room on the third floor. Something about it seemed off. He recalled the blueprints, but this room wasn't on them.
"Min's hiding something on the third floor," he muttered, his curiosity piqued.
The other two fell silent on their earphones.
"Min's men are going to be here very soon, you two should get out of the mansion with our guards" he ordered them.
"what about you," the second man asked in a worried tone.
"You go, jimin, I have something to deal with," the man said with seriousness in his voice.
"But Taehyu- "Jimin was going to say something but Taehyung interrupted him.
"Just do what I'm saying," Taehyung said coldly. Jimin mutters "ok"to himself.

I fidgeted with my fingers, my nervousness palpable. "I can't" I whispered to the maid, shaking my head. Panic coursed through my veins, and the maid's stern expression only made things worse.
"This is Mr. Min's order, young Miss," she insisted. I looked up at her, feeling helpless.
I managed a faint "okay" before standing up from the stool. The maid turned and left the room, leaving me feeling anxious.
*FLASH*
(Scene change)
[Unknown pov:]
I settled into the window seat of the mysterious third-floor room. Climbing up had been a breeze. As I scanned the space, curiosity got the better of me. This room seemed to belong to a girl.
Just as I was about to leave, I heard footsteps coming from the adjacent room. I slipped into the room beside me, finding myself in an art studio filled with charcoal portraits.
My eyes widened as I explored the artworks. That's when I spotted it โ a sketch of my brooch. My heart skipped a beat.
"Ahhh, leave it," I told myself, trying to brush off the feeling of unease.
As the footsteps grew louder, I turned around, eager to catch a glimpse of the room's occupant. And then, I saw her a vision of beauty standing in the doorway.
Fucking beautiful

I let out a deep sigh as I emerged from the adjacent room. My gaze fell upon a glint of light on the floor. I bent down to investigate and picked up the swan brooch, admiring its beauty. It was a habit of mine to collect such trinkets. I slipped the brooch into the pocket of my gown.
After a few moments, I stood up and approached the dressing table. As I gazed at my reflection in the mirror, my mind began to wander.

-Author Pov-
You were dressed in a stunning peach gown, your brown wavy hair cascading down my back, reaching your waist.
You were lost in thought, oblivious to the pair of eyes watching your every move. With a gentle touch, you combed your hair, the soft strokes soothing.
"Tonight's the full moon," you whispered, your gaze drifting to the window, where the moon cast its silvery glow.
A melodious hum escaped your lips as you put the comb down and approached the window. The breeze danced through your brown locks, sending a shiver down your spine. You felt like someone was watching you, but you dismissed it as mere imagination.
As you stepped back, your foot caught on something, and you stumbled. A groan escaped your lips as you glared at the offending shoe. Suddenly, the room plunged into darkness, leaving only the moon's soft light.
Annoyance gripped you, and a frustrated sigh left your lips. You yanked off the shoe with your left leg, and a cry of anger escaped.

"A princess like you shouldn't have left her shoe like Cinderella," a deep, velvety voice resonated within my room, sending shivers down my spine.
I froze, my heart plummeting into my stomach as if it had been dropped from a great height. Fear gripped me, urging me to turn and flee, but my body seemed rooted to the spot, paralyzed by the ominous tone.
The voice's owner began whistling a haunting melody, his footsteps echoing through the room as he approached me. Each step seemed deliberate, calculated to instill fear.
Oh God, what's happening? I panicked, my mind racing wildly. I felt a hard surface behind me, trapping me. A shiver coursed through my veins as hot breath danced across my cheeks.
He bent down, his lips inches from my ear. My breath caught in my throat as he gently swept my hair over my shoulder, his fingers grazing my skin. The touch sent tremors through me.
Who is he?! How did he get into my room? The questions swirled in my mind, but before I could formulate an answer, he whispered huskily, "Knowing well there won't be a prince charming... but me, a handsome Sinister."
His words were laced with an undercurrent of menace, his breath caressing my ear. I felt a shiver run down my spine as he inhaled deeply, savoring the scent of strawberries and vanilla that lingered on my skin.
