Chapter 1
That day was not his duty day. But the call he received from Dr.Hyungsik made him go to the hospital. Because of that curiosity, he hurried along the hospital corridor. He joined this mental hospital as a doctor and completed a month's probation last week. Throughout that probationary period, he anxiously worked to see who would be the first patient he would have to take care of as a professional physician. Jeongin nervously stood in front of the office door and took a deep breath.
"Everything's gonna be just fine Jeongin. Just don't freak out!" He said to himself and knocked on the office door. The door opened revealing few of the staff members of the hospital.
"Good morning Jeongin!Please come & take a seat" Lee Dong Wook, the head of the hospital staff, spoke to Jeongin with a smile on his face. Jeongin came inside & bowed to the staff before taking a seat.
"First of all, sorry to call you on your day off. We are so sorry for your inconvenience." Dr. Dong Wook politely spoke out.
"It's okay, sir" Jeongin said with a warm smile.
"Well! I called you today… To submit your letter of acceptance as a professional doctor."Dr. Dong wook said in one breath.
Jeongin was beaming with happiness. He couldn't even find the words to say how happy he was.
"Why are you asking me to take over the job all of a sudden, sir?" Jeongin mentally cursed himself for asking that stupid question.
"We have a vacancy of a doctor for a certain patient." Dr. Park Jisoo explained to the younger male.
"Dr. Lisa Manoban, who previously cared for this patient, got an appointment at another teaching hospital just as soon as you got here and the probationary period started." Dr. Mark Lee further explained.
"Almost everyone on our staff took care of this patient after that." Dr. Dong Wook sighed.
"But this patient is a bit difficult to take care of because she cannot be released." Dr. Hwang Yeji said.
"She? It's a female patient?" Jeongin asked.
"Yes. Dr. Hyungsik will provide you with all the other necessary information. So... I hope you show us your skills. So this meeting is dismissed" Dr. Dong Wook said with a smile.

"Of course... I never thought that you would be put in this vacancy because you are a new person." Dr. Park Hyungsik said, unlocking the basement door with his long, skinny fingers.
"Why do you say that?" As soon as the door opened, Jeongin's body shivered and a cool breeze blew in, as if it was freed from something dangerous.
They continued walking through the basement corridor.Then they stopped in an old lobby.
"Wait a minute!" Saying that, Hyungsik went to a cupboard behind the desk in the lobby and started looking for something there. A few minutes later, Hyungsik returned with a black file in his hand.
"This is the file with your patient's information. From today, this is yours. Keep this carefully." Jeongin carefully opened the file.

Jeongin's eyes widened as he read the information.
"Anorexia? How is she surviving without food?" Jeongin asked.
"Her body is not responding to any food or water. We have tried several times to give her food but it didn't work. So we are giving her saline instead of food or water." Hyungsik said standing in front of an iron door.
"She got some serious problems" Jeongin muttered to himself.
He opened the door and let Jeongin into the room. As soon as Jeongin entered the room, he saw a girl chained to a chair. Her head was hanging low. So Jeongin couldn't see her face. This room was divided into two by a large glass wall. It is for the safety of the doctors who come to examine the patient. So Hyungsik and Jeongin looked at the chained girl from the other side of the glass wall.
"Oh! Before you go in there.... She just loves to manipulate & play with others minds okay? Just don't mind her. She's very chaotic." Hyungsik said in a worried tone.
"I'll be fine hyung" Jeongin reassured.
"Don't forget Jeongin, she's a heartless killer." Hyungsik said & handed an electric torture & a little key. He took one last glance before going out of the room.
Suddenly he heard the sound of chain clanging. When he looked at the girl, her dark orbs were already starting at him with a death glare.
