Chapter 1 The Chaotic family
Sunrays peeking through the windows fell on the figure laying on the bed. Alarm sound echoing in the room but seems like the sound doesn't having any effect on the sleeping figure. After continuous alarms she wake up and sat on the bed with jerk. The clock was striking 7 : 30 in the morning, she hurriedly goes to the bathroom and came out after sometime ready in a track suit.
Harshita's POV
"Baba chaliye jaldi vaise hi aaj hume uthane mei late ho gaya hai", Harshita says while coming down from the stairs.
"Daddy be quick I've already woke up so late, (translation for my readers who has difficulty in understanding hindi :) )
"Baccha aaj nahi jaate n aaj mujhe office mei important file submit karni hai, aur abhi naasta bhi banana hai ready bhi hona hai ghar ka kaam bhi hua nahi hai late ho jaayega..!!" Ashish said in a convincing tone.
"Baccha today we will not go n actually I've to submit important file in the office also I've to make breakfast, get ready, also householed chores are not done yet, I'll get late n ...!!
"No excuses baba, we are going for jogging, if you are being late then we will do one thing, we will only jog for 1.5 hours okay?!", Harshita said. Ashish got convinced, how could he not, ( apni beti ke saamne kaise chalti unki ).
After jogging Ashish sat on the bench in the garden, while harshita was still doing some excercise. He was looking at his daughter in an adoring way and got lost in some thought. After completing her excercise Harshita came and sat on the bench and asked, "What happened dad, what are you thinking?!". "Nothing beta" he replied with a sweet smile.
Both father and daughter left the garden and reached the home in few minutes...As soon as they entered a sound stopped them. As Harshita turned to see she found a women walking towards them while clapping loudly wearing a black saree with sleeveless blouse with a makeup on that could've weigh almost 1kg...The women approached them and said "Aa gaye dono baap beti?!".(So both father-daughter duo have returned?!). "It's mornings time there's a ton of work/chores to do but u both have to work out, jogg, is dancing on my head 24x7 not enough for you both huh..?!" the woman said sarcastically.
"Maa it's not too late, hum abhi kar dete hai bas aadha ghanta dijiye hume. ( Mom it's not too late I'll do it now just give me ½ hr.)
"Huh, you'll do it in ½ hr, if you were this capable you were not be sitting like this in your father's house jobless" the woman said with a smirk and irritating way stressing on the word jobless more than required.
Listening to her mom's words, tears welled up in Harshita's eyes but she controlled and didn't let the tears fall...Ashish had noticed it and said "enough Maya, we will both do and wind up the work as fast as possible is that okay?!".
Maya wanted to say something but got stopped due to the glare she got from her husband. Harshita and Ashish started to do the house chores and after completing they both left for their rooms to freshen up.
Upon reaching the bathroom she shut the door with a thud, her eyes which were holding the tears until now couldn't be able to hold it anymore and started falling continuously. After few minutes she stood up, washed her face and came out of the bathroom like nothing happened.
Special note :
( This family is not like a normal family the father-daughter duo bond is unseperable for sure but the the mother-daughter is like dharti and aakash [ earth and sky ]...but but but there's one more person in the family who has not entered the scene till now...let's see what happens when the little dynamite enters the scene )
