Alison is about to finish her degree when the Russians attack her family again. As far as she knows, her family has always had problems with them, and she knows that there are things that neither her mother nor her aunt tell her. Despite everything, she still loves her family and would do anything to keep them safe, but she meets a boy, Daniel (head of the Spanish mafia) who she loves but something tells her that she must keep him at bay to find out if what he claims he has feelings for her is real or not, since many people had tried to be with her for all the money her family has. On the other hand, Alexandra and Megan are tired of the mafia life, and although they would love to be able to leave it, they know that they should not do so until they finish with the Russians who are always threatening their family. They don't want their children to have to use the mafia, so they will do whatever it takes to make that happen even though everyone thinks they will leave the mafia, they don't tell anyone, not even their own husbands. What will happen when the war between the Italians and the Russians starts again? What will happen between Alison and Daniel? Will Alexandra allow her daughter to continue being involved in the world of the mafia simply because she might fall in love with the boy?
This book is the second part of Mob Heiress. I recommend you read the first one. This new novel happens a few years later than the first but the first book would help you to understand some things that appear in this one.
