WHAT MEN DO
"A powerful follow up to Four Poster. This brings some closure to the experiences of the people in the previous story. Certainly a sense of graphic horror. Plus a neat twist in the final chapter."
Marvellous
"What a fantastic story of sheer horror. Chapter one setting the seen with a gradual buildup of foreboding tension. The middle two chapters briskly taking you on a journey of unimaginable horror. With the final chapter making you think very deeply, that anyone when pushed to the brink can deliver their own judgement in the most horrific manor. Not to be missed by all true horror seekers."
Another master piece from William Eldritch!
"I recently read this on kindle. Another exceptionally well-written work of mind-bending horror. I am so glad I found this author! Like Four-Poster, the brilliant description pulls you in and makes you feel like you are actually there. The bed chapter is even more horrific and disturbing than the bed chapter in Four-Poster; after that chapter, I had to have a break! A truly great horror story."
Fabulous
"This sequel blew me away! Fabulous story, great writing style, a brilliant follow up to its precursor! I was abit sceptical about the 76 year olds strength and stamina, but if mums can lift cars off their children I'm sure an adrenaline fueled old man can achieve his revenge 😁 I liked that the bronze man got a little redemption at the end too. 10/10 "
what men do
"Wonderful, absolutely wonderful! Although, I feel four poster is still my favorite, This one affected me in a different way. I found myself speedreading through it because the pace of the story pulled me along with the tension and stress that the main character was feeling. my heart began racing from the entrance into the inn through to the end. When I reached the end, I realised I had read it in its entirety without commenting on each chapter, which I rarely do. I was concerned about the activities of a man of 74, but I guess the adrenaline of fear could make any of us go above and beyond our assumed capabilities. Ironically, I felt sorry for the brass man. I wonder what his story is? He was under the control of the witches, but was he real at one time? He did have a conscience in the end, which to me shows a heart full of regret. Wonderful work William. Thank you so much for sharing."
What men do
"This is one of my favorite writers, along with hollows and new player. This book is extremely graphic with lots of gore, so if you can't handle that, I suggest not reading it. It doesn't bother me and this book was just like wow. I would tell you what I loved or didn't about this book, but that would just spoil it for you, so I'm going to let you form your own opinion. But like I said, if you can't handle gore or graphic scenes, then this book is not for you. "
Even better than Four-Poster!
"I was blown away by Four-Poster and was wary about a sequel living up to that amazing story, but What Men Do has outdone it! This author has got me into reading stories that are far more graphic than I was previously used to. If Four-Poster was a sharp shock, What Men Do is more of a prolonged torture. There is more depth of plot and character in this sequel. What Men Do is definitely not for the faint-hearted or easily offended. Truly shocking! Highly recommended."
Genuinely speechless
"The graphic horror is relentless but phenomenal, leaving virtually nothing to the imagination. Didn't think it could get more distressing and graphic than the original, but the sequel has exceeded all expectations and was a thoroughly enjoyable read, if yet unnerving. Please keep up with your writing and thank you for posting on my wall that this was available. "
