Chapter INTRODUCTION

Tejasswi Prakash Wayangankar always took extra care in keeping her personal life away from the eyes of the buzzing public glare. Though her professional life irrevocably came along with the demand of her being a center of attention wherever she goes, she was stubborn in making sure that she doesn't let any holes uncovered for her personal life to be dragged in front of the general public to be dissected by and judged upon. She knew there was a fine line between what was supposed to be revealed to the public and what was supposed to be just her own business.

And that is the reason why she barely made it to the gossip columns of local magazines or the stupid articles of cheap media houses. But this never meant she went unnoticed or unrecognized. She was widely recognized for her exceptional talent in acting. She might not be in the gossip columns but you could easily see her face on the cover pages of several top rated magazines. She might not be written about for her personal life dramas but you could unavoidably come across numerous articles praising her latest achievements or showcasing her recent awards.

But this March was something else. Unlike usual, it wasn't her professional life that made her the talk of the town. The unexpected and sudden wedding announcement of Tejasswi Prakash Wayangankar and Karan Kundrra was breaking the internet in all the exciting ways.

Though there was some initial negativity surrounding the news from certain fans who were upset about two very eligible bachelor's finally getting hitched, it all turned into a happy buzz once they made a public appearance together. All the public could talk about was how perfect they looked besides each other. In no time, #TejRan was trending and it seemed like the whole country was celebrating the union of these two.

Pictures of the Wayangankar Bungalow and the Kundrra Mansion decorated in expensive lighting and paparazzi appearances of India's celebrities reaching the venues were making the rounds. The nation couldn't seem to be more happy and excited about the wedding expect one person - the bride!

She unwillingly went on to put up an act of a happy bride, all the while wondering how messy the whole situation is going to be when the wedding gets finally called off! She knew it could be the deathbed of her professional career. Worse, it would kill all ties she had with her own family. But she was ready. She would give it all up without a second thought for the one thing she had kept hidden and treasured for so long. Her love!

She always believed she wasn't anything like the usual, stupid girls in those movies who gave up everything else in the name of love. But now she realized, she was exactly that! She was stupid. But that didn't matter. All that mattered was she left the clutches of this arranged marriage and run. Far far away where it was just her and the one person she loved!

But what happens when all the plans are turned upside down? What happens when she is announced Mrs. Kundrra in front of the world? What happens when her husband is wholeheartedly ready to give this marriage a chance and give her all the time she needed to get used to it?

More than that, what happens when she finally realises she wasn't the one who kept things in dark but rather she was the one who was kept in dark?
