The Royal Comedy
The Royal Comedy
In the heart of the kingdom of Aramore, there was a princess named Isabella. She was known for her beauty that could rival the dawn and a heart as warm as the midday sun. However, despite her radiant kindness, Isabella’s parents, King Harold and Queen Margaret, never truly saw her for who she was. They were too busy with royal duties and preferred the company of her elder sister, Princess Eleanor, whose ambition and cunning were more in line with their vision for the kingdom’s future.
Isabella, though neglected by her parents, found solace in the palace library. She loved to read and would often lose herself in the tales of distant lands and brave heroes. One day, while perusing a particularly ancient tome, she stumbled upon a dusty scroll. As she unrolled it, a gust of wind blew through the window, scattering papers everywhere. She giggled as she chased the rogue parchment around the library, finally capturing it under her slipperier foot.
“Got you!” she exclaimed, holding the scroll aloft in triumph. Little did she know, this whimsical moment would set her on a path that would change her life forever.
