Great Adventure

"Hello Pokémon fans! If you're looking for an adventure with ocs, then this is the fic is for you! It is set in a new region called Nutera (forgive me if I may misspell it). It has great worldbuilding with the author giving distinct locations, the new Pokémon, and new professors and gym leaders along the way with vivid imagery added, giving the worldbuilding the depth it needs. The plot starts to pick up in pace near the end of Season 1, as the steaks are piling up for Slate. I like the emotional turmoil he goes through to empower himself on his journey. As for the characters, Slate feels the most developed, since he is the main character after all. I would say the character I "dislike" the most is April, as she does make jabs at Slate often and I feel his annoyance too lol. But I understand she is still growing as a character along with Slate's mom and the others. The Author's writing style is decent and the fight sequences are good. There are hardly any errors in this book, so it's a pretty smooth reading experiencing. The mystery and certain cliffhangers keep the pages turning and coming back for more, so it's a compelling story, through and through. Give it a go! 🎀🌸"
