Journey within
""The Path to Self-Awareness and reflection"
So today is the day you decided to step away from conventional thinking, societal norms and the limitations imposed by external influences. Great. So proud of you. The Path to Self-Awareness and reflection
This is a society where they solely want's you to just do things without questioning them first they're trying to distract you. Let's reprogram ourselves and start by asking questions!
What is self awareness? It is having the conscious knowledge of your own character feelings and motives as well as desires .
What is reflection? It is something that most people use when they want to look back on Somthing. Could be a past experience or idea they ask questions to themselves like "what could of I've done differently?" To sum it up just analyzing the event.
It is very important to reflect as it helps in personal growth as you can think and change your perspective.
Understanding your inner landscape. What do you believe in?
Whether it's religion or how you think things should be. Your perspective of "right" or "wrong" what do you value? Who are you? Are you your true self around other people? What is your true self? I challenge you to answer these questions. Understanding these will help you on identifying yourself
How are you feeling? Happy, angry, sad, anxious? Whatever they are those emotion are valid no Matter what position you are in everyone's feelings are valid no emotion is bad or wrong to feel. If you feel like crying cry no matter if your at home, work, school or extracurricular activity it is okay to cry anywhere there is no inappropriate time to cry. If you think you'll be judged of it. You will there's no doubt of it but just know they only judge you because they can't bring themselves too everyone who judges you is judging themselves. But they are doing the best they can all we can do is nothing.
When you feel Anger sometimes we get so angry we just want to yell at everyone and destroy everything and just take it out on other people. Before you do any of that identify why you suddenly feel that emotion then practice your mindfulness and self awareness. Pay attention to your physical and emotional responses as then develop healthy outlets like sports, exercise or yoga to release built up energy and reduce stress. If you're not interested in those more physical activities try to engage in creative activities such as drawing writing or playing music to express emotion constructively. Not into that either? Try relaxation techniques practice deep breathing exercises to calm your nervous system. Or try progressive muscle relaxation.(There many exercises like the ones I've named on YouTube if you need a guide.) Cognitive restructuring. Change those negative thought patterns that fuel your anger instead view things from a different perspective. Improve communication skills learn to express your feelings calmly and assertively without aggression. Communicate how you feel and what you need. Take some time for yourself give yourself a break when you start to feel overwhelmed step away from the situation and go take a walk. Surround yourself with supportive friends and family who can offer perspective and help navigate difficult emotions. Then focus on the positive aspects of your life practice gratitude daily.
When you feel happiness you often think well there isn't that much to say about this emotion because it's considered a "good" emotion and not necessarily bad to feel. And you're right! When dealing with happiness it involves embracing sustaining positive emotions, fostering a sense of fulfillment and is ensured a balanced perspective on life's ups and downs.
The same can't be said about when you feel anxious though but if it makes you feel better it's similar to anger! Dealing with anxiety involves a combination of self care practices and cognitive strategies! Like anger understand your anxiety identity the sources of your anxiety. Practice mindfulness and meditation. Create a support system talk to friends, family etc. about your feelings sharing experiences can help feelings less isolated. Limit exposure to stressors reduce your exposure too the news, social media, or other sources of stress as well.

Overcoming obstacles to self awareness. Dealing with fear and resistance the only reason you feel fear is because your brain programmed you too feel that way it's trying to "protect" you by saying "oh no way am I doing that it looks scary!" How would you know something is scary if you haven't even tried it yet? next time your afraid of something ask that inner voice why. Embrace being vulnerable and being your authentic self!
