1. Her reason to live
The cool breeze rushed over to trees making the leaves flutter.Her hair caressing her face now and then. She sat there as if she was waiting for someone to come and bring her back to life but she knew she has no one. Her eyes softly gazing at the scenery in front of her which the surroundings offered. Her hands that were folded on her lap holds a flower she just picked up.
She was a normal girl just like others when she was a little girl. But God always has everyone's destiny prepared. Time doesn't wait for anyone. Just like that her time with her parents was over when she was just 8 years old.
Her parents that raised her to be a beautiful girl not by looks but by heart was not with her anymore. Empty. That's how her home felt , so as her soul. But she didn't give up on life and passed all these years by herself waiting for happiness to find her. Her grandmother took care of her until the age of 16 after her parent's death but she soon passed away, too and she had to live on her own.
Just by looking at the trees in front of her she waited for the time to pass. She was diagnosed with a heart disease just some months ago. She was living her life just to be alive before she got to know she has a heart disease.
Her doctor said she has to live in hospital so that they can monitor the condition of her heart. She didn't have much money that she could spend on the medications but thankfully she found a NGO that helped her with the money. Or more like someone helped her by sending those people from NGO to help her...
You would think she was happy after getting the help , but that was not the case with her. She didn't know the meaning of life. She didn't have a reason to live anymore. But little did she know that , maybe the reason she is seeking to live is coming to her soon.
It was the day her life started to change. For Good. Finally. She has been in the hospital for almost 2 years now. Everyday she would feel like her life would come to an end one day and she was just waiting for that one day till now. But today she didn't feel like that. After all these years thinking the same thing for everyday , today she didn't feel as empty as the previous days.
The reason you ask ? Even she didn't know the reason. But the moment she kept her foot in the garden of the hospital today she felt weirdly good. So instead of sitting on the bench which is situated in one corner, today she decided to sit in front of the pretty trees and she actually didn't regret that.
The garden where she goes everyday because of the doctors advice looked so gloomy all the time before , now it looked much more lively. She liked it. She liked how she didn't feel anything negative today. But she didn't know the reason. The reason for feeling good today. The reason which was going to be her own reason to live another day soon.
