INTRODUCTION
A suite on the top floor of a famous five-star hotel along the Chao Phraya River. There was a tall man in his fourties sitting on a large sofa, looking across the river. On the small table beside the sofa sits an expensive cigar resting on a marble ashtray. He looked out over the tops of Bangkok’s skycrapers before the sound of someone’s leather shoes drew attention from the view outside.
“Boss, Khun Buabusaba has arrived”
“Let her in”
Then the sound of high heels hitting the tiled floor broke the silence in the suite. The pafe of the walk was full of worry. A newcomer whose body was filled with the scent of the perfume sat down on the tall man’s lap, causing the view of the Chao Phraya River to be instatly replaced by a gorgeous body in a blue dress. Her soft white skin was worthy of being one of the top female protagonist. Her beautiful face was covered in tears. She pursed her lips until it’s red and bruised. No matter who saw her right now, they couldn’t help but sigh and think about who was the one that caused the angel to be this sad, but that person wasn’t Makorn Chen.
Her sweet voice repeatedly apologizing, didn’t even reach his ears. His hand raised up and wiggled his fingers. For a spilt second, she was immediately pulled away from him by the bodyguards. Her sobbing sound became more and more annoying. The smell of expensive perfume affixed to the Italian silk suit made him more displeased. His thick eyebrows furrowed together as he narrowed his eyes at the woman who was still crying.
The long legs that were raised cross-legged suddenly moved and used himself up to stand. His strong arms were spread out for the secretary to help him take off the suit and turn into a new one. Makorn Chen didn’t like the smell of feminine perfume on his body. The worried look in his son’s eyes from years ago made him wary. Even though they broke up, his son didn’t want a new father or a new mother.
“Bua”
A deep voice finally spoke. Even if he only called her name, she trembled and tried to escape from the bodyguards.
“Please give me a chance, it’s all my fault... I won’t do it again”
“You crossed the line.”
“I didn’t mean to, I...”
“I thought you could stay with me a bit longer. The past three years have proven that you don’t really understand anything. You should go now. Please send Khub Bua back.”
In the last sentence, the deep voice turned to order the bodygaurds. They immediately took the girl’s body away. The silence finnaly returned. His secretary send him a cash check to sign, it was compensation for the young woman. His secretary soon returned with reports that Baubusaba had agreed to end the relationship for good.
The annoying problem was over. Makorn Chen let out a long sigh before shattering all his thoughts as the urget document was held in fornt of him. Buabusaba wasn’t the first person he cut out of his life.
“Boss, when do you want me call the new one?”
“Take a break, are you sure Bua really wasn’t pregnant?”
“Sure, the doctor confirmed. She consulted him about wanting to have children, but she doesn’t have one.”
“Um, when is the meeting of the parents?”
“The day after tomorrow. I’ve cleared your schedule”
“Next time, let’s try a male.”
The boss’s dejected voice did not suprise the secretary. He just assured that the boss’s new one would be male instead, because the last three women that Makorn Chen had a relationship with, some tried to have children, and some wanted to be Phayak’s new mother. Even before that, there were clear requirements. But the more they stayed together, the expectations in the relationship grew until it came to an end everytime. No one would understand that Makorn Chen in his forties had no plans of starting a new family a second time. Each of them hoped to finally win Grandmaster Chen’s heart. Even Baubusaba, who has been doing well for the last three years, has crossed the line.
All this life, Makorn Chen didn’t want to have a serious relationship anymore, and even more so, he didn’t even think of having a second child. It wasn’t because of the Chen’s family law of having only one child. But as a father, he didn’t want Yi to worry.
His son had to share his mother with someone else and he shouldn’t have to share father with anyone else.
