Chapter1:

After sorting out what's left from the incident in Ballet Twins, Lycaon started texting Proxy, aka Wise, in hope of getting to know him better.

[What should I say to Master Proxy...?] - Lycaon hesitantly typing messages on his phone, not knowing that Wise, who is on the other side, can see it very clearly on his profile status.

     "👋"

Lycaon was caught off guard by the text, he didn't expect me to contact him first.

"Hello Master Proxy, this is me Von Lycaon from Victoria Housekeeping. I sincerely hope that you haven't forgot about our previous encounter in the Ballet Twins." - He typed quickly on the phone, dropping it in the process in fear of the Proxy going offline.

"Of course, I remember, how can I forget about you? Is there anything you need to talk about? I saw you typing for a long time so it must be something important right?"

"I'm glad that you remember me. And no it's nothing serious. I just wanted to inform you about my number. You have been a great help for us in our last adventure together so I personally think I should contact you and thank you again on behalf of the Victoria Housekeeping. And please, it would be my honor to assist you in the future so feel free reaching out."

[Wow... that's indeed a long text, I guess he really must have thought about it a lot.]

"You are bluffing me🫣😗, I just do what I think is right. Plus, hadn't it been for you guys, we wouldn't have made it either, so we should be thanking you too🫡."

"You are too humble, Master Proxy, well then I supposed that I should let you go back to your work now. I wouldn't want to waste your time too much."

    "Later Lycaon."

A few days later ...

[Ughhh... it's been weeks since we last had a commission...I'm bored...]

I grabbed my phone, doom scrolling through the Inter-knot to pass the time. I stopped by to watch a cute video of some puppies and thinking about how cute they are. Then all of the sudden, Lycaon image crossed my mind.

[I wonder what does his fur feels like?]

...

....

.....

[WHAT THE HELL DID I JUST THINK ABOUT?!?!?!?!?!?!]

I tried erasing that idea out of my head, cringing myself out from how weird that sounded.

I finally decided to walk around the street, hoping that I might find. Something interesting. Before I went out, I called Belle to make sure she locked the door after I left. - "Belle, I'm going out, make sure to lock the door okay?"

I opened the door and walked away, yet got bumped into a tall figure before I got the chance to even walk past the door. As a result, I fell on my back and made contact with the floor.

    [Ouch... What was that...?]

"Master Proxy!! Are you alright? I was about to knock but then the door opened and then... Here, let me help you get up."

I feel his hand assisting my back while his other one grabs my wrist, pulling me back up on my feet. It only lasted for a few seconds yet the sensation was already written in my head. It felt...soft and... strangely comforting. Even though I had already expected it to be like this but didn't think it would be this good.

    "Master Proxy?... Are you okay?"

I snapped back to reality after zoning out like that. "Oh! I..I'm fine, just a bit surprised."

"I'm truly sorry, I should have been more professional and reacted faster." - His ears bent down, and the tip even got seemingly pink. It seems like he is embarrassed by the accident.

"It's fine Lycaon.....thanks for lending me a hand. Say...? Why are you here at this time?"

Lycaon grunts his voice a bit, going back to his regular calm demeanor. "Oh...I came to return something of yours." - He handed me the hood of Eous, my bangboo. "You must have dropped this on our last mission, so I decided to drop in and return it."

"That's so nice of you hehe, I have been looking for it for DAYS."

Lycaon let out a soft chuckle, a smile forming on his face. "Well, I'm glad it helps y."

A thought formed in my head...

    "Lycaon..!!"

    "Yes? Master Proxy?"

    "Do you wanna hang out?"
