Endless Nights

Could be referred to as one of the best nights lovers could wish and dream of. The atmosphere was so cold and everywhere was so silent and chill, even the sound of the mild breeze could be easily heard from a distance. It was around 9:45 pm when suddenly a heavy storm broke out followed by a very heavy down pour of rain, well the rain just made perfection of the sweet night for lovers who wished for such a perfect nighty night.

Just as one would think it was such a perfect night for a rest, romance or whatever cool you could possibly have thought of, the rain became more heavy and powerful, the sound of the force-full drops of the rain were so aggressive on the roofings of all houses and for hours it continued to rain like that. Few hours after the heavy downpour started, it become windier and stormier as the wind was so powerful and intense like it has never been, roofings were opened away from different buildings and the sky was rumbling and soon came lightening and thunders so loud that it should make even a grown man shake like a lifeless and spineless leaf. There was Jude and his fiancé Lana on the bed kissing deeply and caressing each other’s as they were lost in the pleasure of the moment. Jude is a 6.7 foot tall black man with curly black hair and brown eyes, he’s masculine and weighs 200 lb. having a very curvy and obviously pink lips that could attract almost any woman while Lana is a very beautiful lady with oval shaped face and nice blonde hair and extremely blue sparkling eyes that can get the attention of anyone at first glimpse, she’s 5.6 foot tall and weighs 135 lb. Lana have a very sexy and curvy body that makes her so hot and the type of almost every man. The sweet moments between these two lovers continued as they seem to be unbothered by the heavy downpour of the rain nor the intense wind and the loud rumbling noise of the thunder they could be clearly heard even by a deaf fellow. This sweet moment of joy between both lovers seems to come to a sudden and unwilling end when suddenly the roof above them was suddenly and forcefully removed by a very huge terrifying figure at sight, at first glance, the first thing that would get your attention and send terror down your spines  where the radiant glowing bloodshot eyes of the unidentified creature, lightening sparked giving a short lasted moment of clearer view of this creature and behold it could be said to be the most terrifying sight for even a beast itself to see, the two sharp long fangs from its mouth were so long and even just at a glance you could tell they look sharper than even a deadly double edged sword. This unidentified creature breaths out fire from its nostril. Clearly you see this creature has a half human looking face as well ,”this should probably just be a bad nightmare but damn, it look more real than reality itself” Jude thought to himself immediately he knew it wasn’t safe in the house anymore In-fact, both of them were already wet from the heavy downpour of the rain that comes down directly into the house and the supposed roof which was supposed to shield them from the rain had been forcefully ripped off by this unknown creature standing right above them it was so huge that all they could both see was the terrifying looking head it has with numerous horns. One could tell Lana was so terrified that she screamed at the top of her lungs “oh my goodness!!!, what the fuck is that?” She screamed “I really don’t wish to know” Jude responded as he swiftly grabbed her hand and made attempts for them to run out. It immediately dawn on him that the front door of the house was locked and they needed a key to unlock it before they could pass through and he looked around and couldn’t find the key, knowing fully well time isn’t on their side and looking at the creature positioning itself at the front of the building, he immediately pulled Lana along with him and made way to the kitchen side of the house and luckily for them the kitchen window was left wide opened and it looks big enough for at least two people to pass through at a go but they both jumped out through the window one after the other. Luckily for them the creature immediately set the house ablaze almost immediately after they jumped out, they were both very terrified and Lana was already crying. Jude grabbed her arm and they both ran deep into the darkness of the night. While running they subconsciously became aware of their surroundings and the sight was extremely terrifying as so many houses were on fire while some has been reduced to ashes, the lovely beautiful and awesome night hours ago had suddenly become the most terrifying night. Not long before different screams could be heard from close by and distance one could immediately tell these were agonizing screams of terrors and pains. Upon closer looks as they were both running for their precious lives, they could also see people running as well even though the sights weren’t clear enough because the rain was still pouring down heavily and smokes from the burning houses filled the air making the night darker than it should be, the moon wasn’t helping as it was already covered by the thickness of the cloudy smoke-filled sky. Anyone would easily think this was the end of the world Afterall the world is on fire and in chaos, could it be the devil has taken over for some reasons? a question that would be in the heart of many. As Jude and Lana both ran not even knowing where to go or what to do “lets head into the woods “Jude suggested, they both ran with as fast as they could heading towards the woods at the outskirt of the town part, while on the run Lana suddenly stumble upon something laying stiff and still on the floor as Jude tried to help her up so they could continue running they both noticed what Lana stumbled on was a lifeless body that looks ruthlessly ripped Lana screamed aloud while Jude stood still in shock now they understood better it’s a ‘run or die hard situation’ while they where both in shock a very tremendous thundering loud roar could be heard from a close distance , they where immediately jolted out from their shock. Jude looked in the direction which the crazy roar came from, and he saw a very huge flying figure that’s bigger than 4 planes combined, this unknown figure was flying in their direction with a noticeable speed jane saw it too and it sent down chills through their spines “get up, we need to run right now “Jude yelled dragging Lana up as they continued running. Now Lana was seriously in tears, only the sound of her cry could be heard not the hot tears rolling down her cheeks because the rain was heavily pouring down on them so one wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between her tears and the rain water running all over her “ look, that’s a big tree, lets hide behind it" Jude shouted out with little hope in his voice, they both ran towards the tree to hide behind it hoping the lightening wont strike and give light to the creature flying after them to expose their hideout. They got behind the huge tree which was surrounded by thick grasses and they carefully hide behind it shivering , Jude took a peak at the flying creature and saw how close it was to the tree they were hiding, he became extremely terrified and bent over Lana using the jean jacket he wore to cover her  and his body to shield her, they could hear sound of the flapping wings of the flying creature as it drew closer, a heavy thunder rumbled across the sky making the two panic, the creature flew closer to the tree and spat out thick fire setting the whole surrounding of the tree on fire and flew past the tree vanishing into the dark. part of the fire got Jude and almost burnt deeply into his back but was quickly quenched by the rain heavy down pour including the fire around them. Jude groaned painfully in silence as he couldn’t afford to make any sound that could draw the attention of the creature towards them which could lead to certain death. Jude sobbed silently in pain while Lana sobbed quietly as well gently using her hand to pat his head “is this really happening?” she rhetorically asked.

They both remained in the position they were until they were sure its safe to keep running, “I think it’s gone, let’s keep running before it comes again” Jude said as he hurriedly got up’ took Lana’s hand and headed to run to anywhere safe to pass the night  as the night seems to be on a standstill, while they were running they keep falling because the ground is already sticky and messed up due to the continuous heavy down pour, they also came across so many burnt and half left dead bodies but this time while Jude was running deep into the heart of the woods holding his fiancés arm who was running alongside him, Jude bumped hard into something that almost knocked him out making him fall flat on his back loosing grip of Lana’s hand, Lana didn’t know what Jude bumped into she looked at Jude laying on the muddy floor groaning in deep pains with his drenched cloth dirtily stained from the fall, Lana quickly moved close to him, she helped him back up and he groaned more to signify he’s in pains. for a moment they both stood still in awkward silence  until the silence was broken by a loud cry of a matured voice that seems like the voice of a man that came from the floor opposite the front of them, Jude and Lana were too scared to move or even run, their legs betrayed them and immediately felt like a jelly. Lana collapsed while Jude stood still, they both didn’t know what it was that made the sound as it was too dark to even see anything, even though it sounded like a man’s voice. immediately, the voice came up again “who are you, say something or I shoot “and the sound of a gun cocked could be heard please don’t shoot,don’t shoot………
