Inferonia : Approaching Apocalypse

Summary

As planet Inferonia trembles as it approaches inch by inch to its apocalyptic end, Prince Flare is more determined to pursue a life he wanted outside the castle. His dream was somewhat impossible to achieve until everything turned upside down in a snap when he met the mysterious creatures called 'Azirins' out of nowhere, who saved him from a royal disaster. Does his encounter with the Azirins have an impact on the fate of the planet? One thing is certain, a thorny and bloody path lies ahead in their adventure. -------- What to expect: fantasy with element of darkness, Apocalyptic essence, adventure, character progression from weak to strong, bit of comedy, mystery and action thrill, a lot of suspense, complex with different flavor of a power systems and world building. Addicting character dynamics. This fantasy novel will be a slow burn as this series will be very long. I really love writing this fantasy novel and I hope you can enjoy every bit of rollercoaster experience and craziness it offers. -------------- Updates: usually Tuesday and Saturday. (But I'll try my best to make updates more often in the near future.) I humbly advocating you to leave a rating and follow the story for more awesome updates! Let the craziness begin!

Prologue

Unknown

It had already been three days, three consecutive days of non-stop fleeing. I had been running for almost six hours straight in this dense jungle since the moment I woke up. It baffled me how I could not feel tiredness or hunger. Was it because my whole being was dead focused on the idea of surviving?

Even when I wanted to pause for a second, my grave fear kept pushing me to keep going no matter what.

The sun was starting to set. It was getting darker and darker on the path I was going through. The jungle haze was starting to get thicker as I traveled. Tall, unfamiliar trees were scattered all around this jungle, and I was doing my best to dodge every obstacle that would decrease my speed. The tickling scent of mosses in this place was making me sneeze from time to time.

[Tug tud, tug tud]

It had been three days already since the sound of my heart started its endless pounding. Throughout this time, the never-ending banging in my chest was the only thing I could clearly hear. In my 16 years of existence as a man, I never imagined myself in this kind of situation.

In my estimation, it was only a few miles away before I could finally enter the urban city.

I can make it!

[Tssssh]

Damn it!

I slipped upon stepping on soft clay, but I recovered quickly to continue my run.

I looked like a docile sheep escaping from a fierce predator chasing after me with murderous intent. There was also something inside me telling me that this was futile. There was never a possibility that I could escape that thing...

That creature...

That person...

Why was I even here in this situation?

Why did I choose this?
