Prologue
Hi. Welcome to "Withered Roses". If you haven't had a chance to read about me from my profile on Inkitt, I don't blame you. Who would enjoy reading about the author when they got the book? But it's important you know something about me. I mean, you have the product of 2 years of work in your hands, and I want to ensure you have the best experience with it.
I am Sahitya, and I am not romanticizing it, my name genuinely means literature in Sanskrit. I am an IT Consultant by profession, but deep down, I am a poet still in the age of the Renaissance. I am an introvert, so most of my emotions are captured in these verses.
Before we embark on our journey through the sojourns of my life, I want to ask these questions:
Q1. Have you ever chosen to be in love?
Q2. What does the word 'love' mean to you?
Q3. If the person you love would ever leave your side, how would you cope with it?
Nah, don't think too much about these questions, but I hope you answer them honestly. It would mean the world to me, and this book would make a lot of sense to you if you have answers to any or both of these questions.
