Chapter 1
Ginny's pov
Beep...beep...beep. The sound of the alarm clock wakes me up from my sleep. It's 7 O'clock in the morning and I'm going to be late for school.
"Shit", I say under my breath and rush to the bathroom to take a quick shower. I throw on some clothes and rush out of my room. I live in a small apartment my mom and my little brother, Marcus. My dad has been absent from my life for 7 years and the entirety of his.The dude just up and left with another woman half his age on my birthday. Who does that? I'll be turning 17 in 4 months but I'm not really psyched about it since the incident but I'm happy to know that I'll be graduating in two months. Back to the present, l rush past my mom and little bro and head for the front door.
"Come eat something", my mom shouts after me.
"I'll grab something on the way" , I say hurriedly say without even turning back to look at her and leave. My school is almost an hour away from my house. I have to hurry.
