A slaves story
"I love how this story envelops the reader in a slaves journey to understand herself. She discovers emotions and navigates her way to understand how to live and love herself and other around her. After years of living in slave trauma she learns to navigate a new life with people who care about her. With a new owner who deals with his own trauma and anger they play off each other to grow and understand themselves. An excellently written story that makes me empathize with the characters and makes me want to give them all a hug!"

"I know a lot of this is the psychological voyage of somebody who’s been a slave, but we have this caravan or train and it’s supposed to be going somewhere for a purpose, but I’m not quite sure what that purpose is. I think the story would be even better if there was more of that kind of plot woven into the everyday story"
