Prologue
It was a chilly night. The tones of blue were darker than usual and the air around the manor gave a cold icy chill. In a distance, a tall black hooded man could be seen moving towards the huge entrance gate. The movement was so smooth that one could have mistaken it for gliding rather than walking. A white blinding light shot from his hands which made the gate crumble.
The angry aura of the man filled the area and the inhabitants of the mansion knew that they had committed a huge mistake. The dark magic penetrated the walls and it made them suffocate with their thoughts.
"Where is the girl Hector?" the hooded man asked.
A tall white balding man stepped forward and answered him trembling with fear "Master she has escaped, we had put up all the necessary precautions in her cell but she was very powerful. We couldn't fight her. I am sorry I let you down."
"Oh, now you are sorry. Did you not know that she was everything I wanted? Hector, you call yourself an accomplished wizard and yet you were not able to contain a mere seventeen-year-old girl"
"Master Hector is right we have not seen such magic before she was indeed powerful. Please forgive us for letting her escape, we shall send enforcements to bring her back."
"Now now Juliana should I keep repeating myself that I don't like to be spoken to until I have asked you to speak?"
" We are sorry master. Please ..." Juliana whimpered. She knew that the earth of their master was beyond imagination and she didn't know what was in store for her family, but whatever it did not look good.
"As my servants, you have failed me and this cost me my most priced possession, for this you shall be punished"
The color on their face drained and they knew what was to come but they were not able to accept it. Hector and Juliana fell to their knees and started to beg for their life for they thought if there was even an ounce of compassion left in their Master's heart he will let them go.
The more they begged him more he became angry. " You two are the reminder of my failure and it was my mistake to trust you both, but you can redeem yourselves for the mistake"
Hector stepped forward with a hopeful smile " Anything my Lord. Anything for you"
"Anything you say Hector" he started with a sinister smile that grew gruesome with every passing second and there was a blinding white light emanating from his eyes which lit the whole room. Every other person in the room was confident that they have lost their eyesight as it went dark.
Juliana's gut-wrenching scream brought everyone back to reality and they froze to see Hector lying in the middle of the living room roasted and lifeless. This was a sight they never wished to see and their heart went out to Juliana who was wailing for her lost husband.
" Now now Juliana you should not be crying over him. I have been merciful and gave him a quick and painless death. Not everyone who crosses me has had the fortune to experience this. You should be thankful to your master."
The tall blonde woman was not in the state to hear anything happening around her for her eyes were focused only on her charred husband.
"Juliana will be staying in the dungeons hereafter and I believe Hector and Juliana have served as a good lesson for the rest of you who fail to serve me properly. Now Celia please take Juliana where she has to be and make sure she is well. I need our dear Juliana alive for others to know and learn. Off you all go."
They didn't know what they had lost today. The girl was a vital part of everything he had planned. When he was so near to achieving his goal she has to mess it up. Rhea Carmichaels was no ordinary girl and he had to possess her no matter what.
" You are mine Rhea! you can run as far as you want but you will always be mine. I would not rest until I claim you as mine and no one will be able to stop me, not even you!”
