Chapter 1

Silver

With the man I love, I stand on the ship’s bow while our daughter gives orders, and we watch as the porthole that led us into my old world closes. We won’t be back for some time. I smile as my family surrounds me. My mom and dad are finally back together. I believe I was always meant to be in this world, as I was created to be the person I am today.

We traveled the seas for the next few weeks, stopping off at Slither Island to find Henry and catch up with him. I had been wondering about schooling for the kids now they are older.

Theo and Archer race each other across the decks. They have a game which terrifies me. At seven, they launch themselves overboard and at the last second grab hold of the ropes which await them. My heart leaps out of my chest every time, but they swing back up and onto the ship, landing firmly on the decks.

“Are you sure you don’t want another one?” Clive raises an eyebrow with a cheeky grin.

“No, four is enough. I couldn’t go through all of that again. I enjoy being me.” Grabbing his shirt, I bring him down for a kiss, his tongue slips into my mouth and we share a passionate kiss together.

“Did your mother say where she was going to?” Clive asks quizzically, as she just disappeared with my dad.

“She wanted to do something.” I shrug my shoulders, as she didn’t give me much either. “I can call her and she will hear my voice, she said.” Mom had explained as soon as I entered this world, she could feel my presence. My voice just enhances the vibrations she experiences, so she knows if I need her. “I’m just happy they are together again. Dad was never fully happy. I think he never wanted to give up the lighthouse job in case she miraculously appeared again.”

“Then I came in and swept you off your feet and took you away from him as well.” There was sadness in his eyes.

“There would have always been a time when I would leave home, well maybe.” I chuckle and kiss his nose. “Fate brought us together. We have conquered terrible witches, created new islands with the help of our special children. It was destiny which brought my mom and dad back together.” I raise both my eyebrows and tilt my head.

“Mom, where are we going?” Iona shouts out. She is standing next to her little sister Ara at the wheel. Fingers, now pushed out of the way, stands at the side of them all.

“Clive? You know these waters and lands better than me.” I loop my arms around his neck and gaze into his eyes. He rolls his eyes at me and chuckles.

“Why don’t we let our little princess of the water take us somewhere?” There is a twinkle in his eyes. “Ara Maya, use your skills and sail us to the unknown lands of the south.” Clive chuckles now and I have to shake my head at him.

“Unknown lands, my ass. Ara, he means a trip to see grandpa and grandma Cuthbert, and your auntie Rose.”

It will come as a surprise to them when they finally see us. So much has happened. Since Ara was born, we haven’t had the opportunity to go visit them.

“We’re going to see grandpa Oli, and grandma Heather.” Theo appears at our side with Archer by his side. These two are so alike the more they grow older, although their temperaments match their names. Theo can sit on an argument, then explode, but Archer lets things just blow past him, unaffected.

“Yes, I think it is time they got to see you lot again.” Clive ruffles both lads’ hair, much to their annoyance.

“Yeah!” They both cheer and run off. Sometimes I wonder if they miss being on land.

Tears spring to my eyes. I know I’m being silly as they are still so young, but I dread the day they grow up and become old enough to make their own choices and go live somewhere else. Clive scoops me into a body hug. “Now, what made you all upset?” He kisses the top of my head.

“I’m just overthinking things. When will they get old?” I hadn’t thought too much about how they would age. If they stayed here, they would age alongside us, but if they decide to return to live in the other world, their aging would slow down. Now I’ve got myself confused trying to work out the time differences.

“You won’t know much difference, but when they reach the age of 18 here, their bodies start to slow the aging process. I mean, look at me for a start.” He smirks at me. “I don’t look this handsome and be an old man at the same time.” He captured my mouth with his so I couldn’t answer him.

Fighting starts between the four of them as they all battle to have a turn of the wheel, and which direction we were going in.

“No, it’s my turn now.” Theo tries to push Ara out of the way, but she has a firm grip on the wheel. Clive’s shoulders slump forward. It’s his turn to calm the kids’ argument, before a storm which will brew if he doesn’t. Even before he reaches them, a bolt of lightning shoots across the sky.

“Theo.” Clive bellows out, and it is enough to make me jump. “You will get your turn. Remember the rule: Ara goes first, then you, Archer and Iona last. You get one hour each and Ara still has another half hour.” He reaches the wheel and crosses his arms in front of him. He means business and I love the sexy, dominant side when he does this.

My heart beats faster and Clive snaps his eyes across at me. Oh, I’m in trouble now. He holds his stare at me, and I bite my bottom lip as the tingles in between my legs increase. He turns back to the kids, pointing his finger at each of them to remind them who is the youngest up to the oldest. With them all happy and Ara back at the helm, Clive turns back to me and smiles. His beautiful blue eyes sparkle alongside the shimmer which the sun catches in the seas below us.

I haven’t seen Bluebird. I guessed he had gone to help with preparing food with Madison. Feeding four hungry kids all the time, Madison has been a blessing in disguise. He is a dab hand at everything and the kids love him. Although I’m sure Fingers is still a firm favorite, as he excels in teaching the kids the art of pick-pocketing. He sets up games between them and each takes a turn at trying to pick someone’s pockets without being noticed. Ara has taken to becoming a master at it. She has on occasions taken things off Fingers himself without him noticing.

A bell ringing causes everyone to forget about everything. Fingers takes over the wheel and the kids all dash down into the decks to eat. Clive laughs and wanders over to me.

“Do we join the kids, or make good use of the time we have alone?” His hands slide around my waist and he tugs me closer to him. We stand in close contact, and Clive’s dick grows against me. “I think we should make the most of our time alone. I give them 15 minutes before we get interrupted.” He grinds himself against my pussy. “Mine.”

“Bastard.” I tip my head back and absorb the exhilarating pleasure he gives me. “Oh, Clive.” My body tingles all over, and I need his nakedness. He picks me up, and every step he takes has us tearing at each other’s clothes. Entering our quarters, he drops me and locks the door as he kicks his boots off.

“You are mine!” The power in his words made me grab the table, which usually has a map laid out. Clive has been plotting and putting together all the places he has been to over the years. I was quivering, ready for him. He came up behind me and pulled up my dress, exposing my ass; I knew what was coming next.

His hand pushes my back, forcing me forwards onto the table. I glance backwards at him and he has his hand wrapped around his cock. “You were being a naughty pirate wife earlier. Do you know what punishment you will get?” He teases me with the tip of his cock.

“Mine,” I whispered out breathlessly as we stared at each other. I knew the game we played.

“Silver.” He jerked his hand and growled at me because I teased him. It never gets old when we say those words to each other. His stare intensified, and he brought his other hand down on my ass cheek, then teased my opening with his cock. “You are such a beautiful wife. You have given me everything I’ve ever wanted. Now I’m going to make you beg for me.” He rubs the tip of his cock against my clit, whilst whispering softly in my ear. The hold his fingers have in my hair as he pushes me down. I’m breathing heavily as he excites me further.

“Clive.” I beg him. The tip just entering me, and no more.

“I told you I would make you beg.” His rough voice vibrated through me. “Tell me, my little pirate wife, what would you like me to do to you?” He entered me a bit more, stretching me with his size.

“Fuck me, please.” I manage to glance back into his eyes. “I am yours. You are mine.”

Clive’s eyes rolled back into his head, and he sunk into me, groaning. “Yes, my love, always yours.” He held himself inside of me and brought his lips to mine, kissing me passionately before leaning back and reaching his fingers around. “Mine.” He pressed his finger against my clit and circled it as he pumped his cock in and out, whispering mine with every thrust.

Over these few years, Clive has managed to push all the right buttons, which took me to the point I’d scream his name and squirt all over his cock. He joined me and came roaring out as he did.

Hot, sweaty and sticky. Sex with Clive became an experiment of how far we could push each other into the bliss of ecstasy without actually having a heart attack. We made the most of our time alone when we could. We just had enough time for a quick shower and went to see what food was left for us.

The sail to Clive’s parents’ would take us about seven days. Although I had been teaching the children onboard the ship, I had thought about settling down somewhere so they could go to school.

“Do you think we should stay near your parents’ and let the kids go to school there?” I sat in bed with Clive after we had got the children all to sleep. “I know being onboard the ship can get boring for them.”

“We have plenty of places we can go, islands to visit.” Clive pulls me into him and wraps his arms around me. “But you are right, it would benefit them to mix with others, get an education.”

“What did you do?” All I know is Clive grew up on a ship until he got old enough, then his parents settled down on land and he sailed off.

“We used to stop off at places. I think it was my parents trying to find somewhere they liked to live. But I’d be in school on whatever island we were on. Sometimes it was months, and sometimes a few years. When they finally settled in the south, I finished my education.” His lips pressed against my shoulder.

“What qualifications did you get?” I turn my face to find him grinning.

“Erm, well… I didn’t really, what you call graduate.” He blushes, and he is so cute. “I think I just wasn’t into learning anything apart from the stars and the understanding of a compass, plotting charts, drawing new ideas down for things to make the ship better.” His smile widens and reaches his eyes. “Anyway, I set my sights on finding the woman I was destined to be with, and fight all the other pirates to make sure she stayed with me.” He winks at me and it warms my heart. “I love you, Silver, and I will do anything for you if it means that you are happy.” He kisses me, then holds me in his arms.

“And I love you too, Clive.” I settle down in his arms and drift off. A new adventure on land awaits us.
